343 Industries has released the final free content update for Halo 5: Guardians, Memories of Reach. The update adds the Arena map Stasis, Noble Team-inspired armor sets, new weapons (Brute Plasma Rifle, Jorge’s Chaingun), and the Infection game mode. As with the previous updates, there are also a number of extra assassinations, emblems, and weapon skins. Several fixes and tweaks are also included, such as the ability to modify matchmaking search preferences and an updated Post Game Carnage Report with medals and more stats. As a bonus, anyone who launches the game after Memories of Reach goes live will receive Memories of Reach Update Pack, a set that comes bundled with single-use REQs.
A few free extras are still in store for this summer, though: Hog Wild release and the new Warzone Firefight game mode. Additionally, Memories of Reach REQ Pack is out for 120,000 REQ Points ($14.99), which has three permanent REQs selected from 12 new REQs that include the armor and helmets worn by Noble Team’s Kat, Jun, Jorge, and Emile. In addition, the pack includes Jorge’s Chaingun weapon cert, Brute Plasma Rifle weapon cert, Helios Phaeton vehicle cert, Jorge’s Chaingun stance, and 12 ultra rare or legendary single-use REQs.
Lastly, for fans of Halo eSports, Halo.gg and Xbox Wire will air the HCS Pro League Online Qualifiers on May 21 and 22.
