Destiny: The Taken King is now available online and in stores. The expansion introduces a new enemy, King Oryx, who has unleashed his soldiers in revenge for the death of his son Crota. In addition to the quest to defeat Oryx, The Taken King adds three new Guardian subclasses, Strikes, and Crucible maps, along with the new King’s Fall Raid and new armor and weapons. King’s Fall will go live at noon (CST) on Friday, September 18. New players can opt to grab Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, which also includes the first two expansions, The Dark Below and House of Wolves, for $59.99. For current players, The Taken Ling can be purchased by itself for $39.99. A one-time character boost, Spark of Light, will be included with both in order to get players up to level 25 so that they can take part in the new content.

As an aside, PlayStation owners have access to extra content, including three sets of armor and exotic weapons, a Strike map, and a Crucible map, as timed exclusives until fall 2016.
