Ace Team’s action platformer Abyss Odyssey will be getting a release for PS4. Abyss Odyssey: Extended Dream Edition will contain tweaks and updates to the original game, which follows Katrien, Ghost Monk, and Pincoya on a quest to defeat a powerful warlock at the bottom of a sprawling abyss. In addition to the updates for the PC version, Extended Dream Edition will feature online two-player co-op, local four-player versus, and a mini-boss battle with Zeno Clash’s Goldem. Abyss Odyssey is a 2-D action platformer with a complex fighting game combat system. Players can pick one of three characters, Katrien, Pincoya or Ghost Monk, to fight the nightmare creatures emanating from the Warlock’s mind at the bottom of the abyss. As players continue battling, they can capture the souls of enemies and take their form, and since every enemy has a unique moveset, the possibilities are limitless when it comes to chaining together combos.
