Sledgehammer has revealed on their blog that they will be releasing a zombies mode, Exo Zombies, for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The mode will be part of the upcoming DLC pack Havoc, which is slated to launch early next year.
CD Projekt has announced that they’ve added The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt onto PSN for pre-order. Geralt of Rivia will be setting out on his next journey early next year when Wild Hunt launches for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For those who missed the recent reveal, players will be able access 16 free DLC packs regardless of whether or not they pre-order.
Switchblade Monkeys’ Wild West-themed top-down shooter Secret Ponchos will be hitting PSN on December 2 for PS4. PlayStation Plus members will be able to access the game for free during launch month. The versus-focused title will feature support for two to eight players, two-player splitscreen play, and several game modes. Players will be able to choose from one of five outlaws and square off in Deathmatch, Domination, Free-for-All, and Team modes. Each outlaw will have their own style, using everything from whips to shotguns, and be able to lay ambushes using a cover mechanic.

Insomniac Games has announced several new items for Sunset Overdrive, including new weapons, events, and item boosts. The first weapon pack launched today for $4.99, which includes the Plague Bomb, which causes vomiting to the point of exploding; the Rager, for creating a cloud that confuses and enrages enemies to the point where they attack one another; Shield Buddy, a bomb-deploying shield; and the Multi-Lock Rocket Launcher for targeting up to eight enemies at once. Demonstrations of each can be seen in an archived livestream.
The Persona 3 and Persona 4 crews have reunited once more before the end of the year, but instead of fighting one another, they’re teaming up for a new adventure in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. To celebrate, Atlus has released four new videos, below, which joins a host of other previously released videos. Persona Q marks the line’s debut on a Nintendo system, and it’s also the first time that the series has entered into the Etrian Odyssey-style world of dungeon crawling. And there will be a lot of crawling around dungeons, as it’s estimated to last over 80 hours, with each team getting their own storyline filled with dialogue choices and plot reveals. The DLC schedule was announced as well and can also available below.
Aksys has released a demo of Arc System Works’ latest fighter, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-, for PS3 and PS4. The only hitch is that it’s currently only available for PS Plus members, at least from now until December 8. The demo features two playable characters, Ky Kiske and Sol Badguy, as well as access to Tutorial Mode and the prologue via Arcade Mode.
From Software has more Dark Souls II in store for 2015. Bandai Namco has announced that the studio is currently working on Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for 360, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Scheduled to launch on April 7, Scholar of the First Sin will include the original game along with all three downloadable chapters (The Lost Crowns Trilogy) and brand-new content. New enemies, in-game events, and an extra non-playable character are being added for all versions, which will be included in the free ver. 1.10 patch for current owners. The versions for the newer consoles and DirectX11 PCs will also sport enhanced graphics.

Warner Bros. has begun to roll out new series of gameplay videos from Batman: Arkham Knight. First up is The Official Batman: Arkham Knight – Ace Chemicals Infiltration – Pt. 1, the first of a trilogy set during a hostage situation. Batman must infiltrate the Ace Chemicals plant and save the remaining workers while battling Arkham Knight and the Scarecrow’s forces. The footage showcases the new Fear Takedown move and incorporation of the Batmobile into Combat Mode.
Sega has detailed their release plans for Creative Assembly’s Total War: Attila. The upcoming Rome II sequel will be available in physical as well as digital formats on February 17. Pre-orders are also open today, and those who put their cash down now will receive the first download pack, The Viking Forefathers Culture Pack, for free. The pack will also be available separately at launch for $7.99 and add three playable factions: The Danes, The Geats, and The Jutes. It will also come bundled with a Special Edition, along with Attila The Hun Biography by Nic Fields and a reference guide poster.
