To promote the upcoming release of Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 and Cabela’s North American Adventures, Activision and Cabela have announced the Hunt Across America Tour. With Hunts 2011 set for a 360, DS, PS3, and Wii release on October 26 and Adventures set for release on September 14 on the 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, and Wii, the tour offers a chance for attendees to have some hands-on time with each before they hit store shelves.

With a decked-out trailer pulled by a hunting-themed truck, the Hunt Across America Tour rig will be easy to spot – even without a scope – as it stops at Cabela’s and GameStop stores all over the nation. Those who stop by the tour will get their hands on the TOP SHOT ELITE, the first-of-its-kind wireless hunting controller for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and an innovative new peripheral for Wii. The groundbreaking TOP SHOT ELITE will come bundled with Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 and will allow players to have an authentic hunting experience right in their own homes.
The “Hunt Across America” tour starts on Sept. 3 near Austin, Texas, continues across the country and back, making its final stop on Oct. 24 in San Francisco, Calif.
