Drox Operative developer Soldak Entertainment has announced their next release, Zombasite. As with previous Soldak titles, the game will be an action RPG set in a dynamic world that’s populated by warring factions and potential allies. There will also be a dash of fantasy, though, as the dead are brought back because of a parasite created by the accidental fusion of a spell cast by a necromancer and the magic of dark elves. The infected retain some of their former skills while also developing new powers as the parasite attempts to spread itself to others. Players will take on the role of a clan leader, alone or with a friend in co-op multiplayer, trying to survive the undead hordes as well as maintain their clan’s numbers by keeping its members from becoming infected. As the leader, players will also be able to negotiate with, trade with, and raid other clans in a constantly evolving game world.
