Marvel Pinball 3D to launch on eShop this Thursday
Zen Studios’ upcoming Marvel Pinball 3D, a new hero-themed four-table set, will be available on Nintendo eShop on June 28. The $7.99 download includes tables based on different series—Iron Man, Blade, Captain America, and Fantastic Four—along with online leaderboard and stereoscopic 3D support, hot seat multiplayer, and skill-based rewards.

Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles hitting XBLA, PSN next week
The latest Zen Studios Marvel Pinball outing, Avengers Chronicles, will be available on PSN for Marvel Pinball on June 19 and Live Arcade for Pinball FX2 on June 20. The 800 MS Point/$9.99 four-table set will pit six Avengers against Loki in a series of themed tables focused around Fear Itself, The Avengers film, The Infinity Gauntlet, and World War Hulk.

Zen Studios reveals tower defenser CastleStorm
The pinball wizards at Zen Studios are setting their sights on the tower defense genre. The studio has announced their plans to release CastleStorm, a 2D physics-based game centered on long-range warfare and resource management. Players will have access to a variety of spells, troops, and missiles, including morning stars, homing eagles, and flying sheep, to fend off invading troops attempting to storm their castle (ha!).

Zen Studios announces Zen Pinball 2 for PS3, PS Vita
Zen Studios will be expanding their PlayStation line soon with Zen Pinball 2 for the PS3 and PS Vita. Functioning as a platform for future table releases, similar to Pinball FX2 for the 360, Zen Pinball 2 will be a free update for owners of Zen Pinball and Marvel Pinball, updating table physics and adding new trophies and support for a new social network system with Facebook integration.

Epic Quest brings role-playingness to the pinball world
Zen Studios’ latest pinball adventure, Epic Quest, is now available for consoles and mobile platforms. Xbox gamers can download the role-playing pinballer as part of the Pinball FX2 platform for 240 MS Points, while PlayStation gamers can snag it as a standalone download off PSN for $2.49. Those wanting their pinball on the go can download an Android or iOS copy off Android Marketplace and App Store, respectively, for $0.99.

Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue gets help from the mighty Thor
Zen Studios will be unleashing Thor on the pinball world as the virtuous thunder god joins the X-Men and their vengeful counterparts in the upcoming four-table pack, Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue. As the protector of Asgard, Thor will be pitted against Loki, the Destroyer, Surtur, and Ymir on the pinball battlefield. The $9.99/800 MS Point DLC will also include tables for Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, and others from the Marvel universe.

Pinball FX2′s latest DLC table, Paranormal, now available for free
Zen Studio’s thank-you gift to Pinball FX2 players, Paranormal, which also happens to be the latest DLC table, is now available for download. Pinball FX2 has to be downloaded first, but it’s a free release, so gamers wanting some pinball action can grab the base game, which serves as a platform for future tables, and Paranormal for absolutely nothing. Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue to get X-Men DLC table
Zen Studios has announced the second of the four new tables from the upcoming Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue pack. Ghost Rider will be followed by none other than the X-Men this winter. The table will feature Iceman, Wolverine, Jean Gray, Colossus, and more as they battle Sentinels and the Brotherhood of Mutants’ Blob, Mystique, and Juggernaut.
