Former NIS America staff form new publisher, acttil
Three NIS America alumni have formed a new publishing company, acttil. The studio, founded by Jack Niida, Hiroko Kanazashi, and Nao Miyazawa, will offer an array of services to both established and indie studios, including localization, package and advertisement design, editing, monetization strategy development, and sales plan development. At the moment, acttil plans to deliver titles for PC, current and next-gen consoles, mobile platforms, the web, and eReaders.

Old West justice dealt in new Call of Juarez: Gunslinger screens
Ubisoft has released a new batch of screenshots for Techland’s Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. The download-only release will follow bounty hunter Silas Greaves as he tracks down, duels, and levels up against the era’s most notorious outlaws.

Dark system requirements, screenshots released
Kalypso has released some new screens, and the PC system requirements, for their upcoming third-person action title Dark. As vampire Eric Bane, players will explore a cyberpunk-themed world and experiment with myriad vampiric powers and stealth-based mechanics. A few extra shots have been thrown in for good measure.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a go for current and next-gen consoles, PC
Activision has officially revealed Call of Duty: Ghosts. Rumblings about the next entry in the Call of Duty series picked up recently after sales ads listed it for pre-order, and now it’s official. Ghosts is being developed by series creators Infinity Ward, the lead studio behind Modern Warfare 3, and marks the start of a new run, with new characters, a new storyline, and a new engine.

New Grand Theft Auto V trailers reveal more about the big three
A trio of trailers has been released for Grand Theft Auto V, dubbed the Michael. Franklin. Trevor trailers. Each of the three characters features prominently in the storyline as their lives interconnect throughout the game, and the trailers reveal a little more about their respective corners of Los Santos.

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon launches online in an explosion of neon
Things just got weird. Or, a lot like my childhood. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, the standalone 80s-themed expansion to the very non-80s-themed Far Cry 3, is available for consoles and PC. The $14.99 download, developed by Ubisoft Montreal, is a wink, a nod, a nudge, and a high-five to the 1980s, with the world looking as if it was recorded off a VHS copy of Excessive Action 2: Island Assault. Players take on the role of Sergeant Rox Colt, a Mark IV cyber commando that is “part man, part machine, all American,” on the hunt for a former commander gone rogue. Naturally, the game features Michael Biehn.

Techland developing new action title Hellraid for consoles, PC
Techland, the studio behind Dead Island and Call of Juarez, is working on a new hack-and-slash action title that features solo and co-op play, Hellraid. The single-player campaign is centered on a story-drive campaign, while co-op play allows up to four players to battle enemies and one another for points and loot. Players can look forward to a mixed combat system that features magic, melee, and ranged attacks, as well as to customizing gear, crafting weapons, guiding character skills, and jostling for position on leaderboards.

Watch_Dogs to launch in November, gameplay trailer released
Ubisoft has revealed that their upcoming open-world action title Watch_Dogs will be released on November 19 for 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U. The PS4 version will be available at the system’s launch, and versions for other next-gen consoles are also planned. To kick off the announcement, a new gameplay trailer has been released that features protagonist Aiden Pearce in a heretofore unseen district of Chicago. Lastly, the studio also revealed a poster, posted below, with art from Alex Ross that is being given away as a pre-order bonus.
