Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Vengeance revealed, debuting July on 360
Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s next download pack, Vengeance, will launch on July 2 for 360. The Treyarch-developed drop will feature four new maps set across the globe: Cove, Detour, Rush, and Uplink. Cove is set on a tropical island in the Indian Ocean, while Detour is set on a destroyed suspension bridge. Rush takes place on an abandoned paintball course, and Uplink is a re-imagined version of Summit from the first Black Ops. The pack will also include a new themed Zombies addition, Buried. Players will have to battle the undead as they try to return to their homes in an Old West mining town, but now they will have access to the new Ray Gun Mark II.

E3 2013: Rockstar – Grand Theft Auto V screens, PS3 bundle
Rockstar has released the nine new screenshots from Grand Theft Auto V that were released during Sony’s E3 conference. New shots of the upcoming PS3 bundle and GTA V-branded Pulse Elite Headset were also included.

E3 2013: Square Enix – Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III, Deus Ex
Square Enix had a very Final Fantasy-heavy E3 showing, with news about Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, new media from Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster, and the reveal that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is now Final Fantasy XV. The studio also had surprises in store, including the announcement that Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Director’s Cut is going multiplatform and that the next entry in the Kingdom Hearts series is well underway.

E3 2013: Namco Bandai – Pac-Man CE DX+, Tekken Revolution, more
Namco Bandai showed off a dozen titles at E3, many from their biggest franchises, and several of which are set to ship shortly. The full line-up features Armored Core: Verdict Day, Dark Souls II, One Piece Pirate Warriors 2, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Pac-Man CE DX Plus, Pac-Man Museum, Power Rangers Megaforce, Project X Zone, Ridge Racer Driftopia, Tales of Xillia, and Tekken Revolution. E3 2013: New screens released from 360, PS3 versions of Diablo III
Blizzard has released several new screenshots from the 360 and PS3 versions of Diablo III. The new batch focuses on the multiplayer component, which will allow up to four players to team up online, locally, or both. Give the dozen-plus shots a gander below.

E3 2013: Bethesda – Elder Scrolls Online, Evil Within, and Wolfenstein
Bethesda’s E3 line-up consisted of three previously announced titles: The Elder Scrolls Online, The Evil Within, and Wolfenstein: The New Order. The biggest reveal was that all three will also be released for PS4 and Xbox One. Some new videos and screens accompanied the announcement.

E3 2013: EA reveals Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall
EA has pulled the curtains back on Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming shooter, Titanfall. The studio, founded by Infinity Ward alumni, has been working on the title for nearly three years. The game is multiplayer-only but will feature the set piece battles traditionally found in single-player campaigns. As an Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation or Militia soldier, players will be able to battle it out as an agile, jetpack-sporting assault Pilot or as the driver of a Titan, a 24-foot-tall mech.

R.I.P.D.: The Game to bring supernatural justice to 360, PC, PS3
Atlus and developer Old School Games are prepping a release for R.I.P.D.: The Game, a tie-in to the upcoming film from Universal, R.I.P.D. (Rest in Peace Department). The supernatural action-adventure title will be a download-only release for 360, PC, and PS3. Players, solo or with a friend via co-op, will take on the role of two lawmen, played by Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds in the film, who must protect the living from violent souls in the otherworld. The game will include an in-game betting system (e.g., who can live the longest, who captures the most enemies) as well as weapons, enemies, and locales from the film.

E3 2013: Xbox 360, One games, social media integration, and more
Microsoft’s E3 2013 conference focused on not only what’s in store for the upcoming Xbox One, but also what they have planned for the 360. The Xbox One was the star of the show, with titles from 343 Industries, Capcom, Crytek, Remedy, Respawn Entertainment, Turn 10 Studios, and Insomniac Games. Several of the system’s features were on display, including Game DVR, which allows gamers to record and upload in-game footage for others to download, SmartGlass interactivity for extra on their games as well as their friends’ activities, and social media integration.
