The enhanced re-release is now available as a standalone purchase on Steam, Xbox Store, and Windows Store. The latest version features updated graphics, extra Achievements, all downloadable content, and support for Play Anywhere. Disney Afternoon Collection brings 6 Capcom classics to console, PC

Capcom is going full-on 8-bit today with the release of The Disney Afternoon Collection. The six-title compilation bundles Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, DuckTales 2, and TaleSpin. Each title has been updated with HD graphics along and supplemented by an in-game Museum filled with art and title history, a Rewind feature, and two modes, Boss Rush and Time Attack.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom now available for PC, PS4, Xbox One

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom has officially launched for console and PC. The action role-playing game sends players on a journey through the fragmented world of Mahera, guiding Chado and four of his friends. The group finds themselves caught between warring kingdoms, and they must make their way through hordes of enemies by harnessing magic and engaging in a fighting-game-style combat system. The title was initially funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign, but was eventually expanded with assistance from Focus Home Interactive.

The Surge goes goooold, day-one PS4 Pro updates detailed

Deck13 has sent word that their upcoming action role-playing game The Surge has gone gold for console and PC. The studio also announced that they have PS4 Pro updates scheduled for release, which will offer Dynamic 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps. Rockstar adds new Adversary Mode to GTA Online, Land Grab

GTA Online has been updated today with Land Grab. Set in cyberspace, players divide into four teams to take down their opponents in order to grab their territory. Teams battle for control across seven maps, with those holding the most area declared the winner once the buzzer sounds to end the round. Everyone who tries Land Grab from now through April 24 will earn Double GTA$ & RP.

Learn about the cast of Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom in new trailer

A new character trailer has gone live for Shiness. Enigami’s action-heavy role-playing game is fast approaching its ship date, so to get players ready, Focus Home has released a trailer to introduce the cast. Five characters band together to explore the world of Mahera, including the mercenary Askel and engineer Poky. Players control the party when navigating the world but engage in combat one on one, in the style of a traditional fighter, though their allies can cast spells from the side and get tagged in to lend a hand.

Grab your guns, nades, and eggs, Easter is coming to Gears of War 4

he Coalition is getting festive with the April update for Gears of War 4. On April 14, players will be able to access a new Easter-themed game mode, Bunny Hunt, that adds oversized Bunny Heads into a new variation of Guardian. Five Chocolate Easter Egg-themed weapon skins will also be on offer by registering at GearsofWar.com and completing challenges in a special playlist. April will also see two maps returning from Gears of War 3: Hotel and The Slab. Both are being revamped, with Hotel now located on a misty, overgrown cliffside, while The Slab has a two-lane opening splintered by a courtyard and a windflare roaring in the distance. Season Pass holders can actually play the maps today, while others will need to wait until April 11. Two Legacy Characters are also hitting this month, a surprise COG who can be found early in a Gears Pack and the Locust Kantus. Weapon tuning is also being introduced, including reduced range for the Gnasher and increased body damage with Lancers. Full details can be found on the Community Hub.
