Dead Rising, DR2, and DR2: Off the Record launch for console, PC

Capcom is celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Dead Rising with the release of three newly updated titles: Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. They are offered on a variety of platforms, with a mixture of physical and digital releases. All of the titles come bundled with their associated downloadable content, and have been upgraded to run in 1080p at 60fps. That’s a lot of zombie slaying, but players have plenty of time to catch up with Frank West’s origins, and fellow protagonist Chuck Greene, before Dead Rising 4 launches on December 6.

comcept and Armature’s action title ReCore out now for PC, Xbox One

Microsoft has released comcept and Armature Studio’s latest action title ReCore. Being the debut Xbox Play Anywhere release, players can share saves between PC and Xbox One as well as access both versions with a single purchase. A new trailer has also gone live, alongside a letter from senior creative director Joseph Staten. The video features corebot dog Mack enjoying a day off with actual dogs, while Staten’s letter touches on the characters, various editions on offer, and cast of voice actors. Corvo sets out for revenge in new Dishonored 2 gameplay trailer

Corvo is back in a new gameplay trailer for Dishonored 2. The famed assassin returns to take down the usurper who overthrew his daughter, Empress Emily Kaldwin. Destiny to get Private Match option tomorrow for PS4, Xbox One

Bungie will be adding Private Matches to Destiny ahead of the release of Rise of Iron. Tomorrow, current-gen versions—that is, PS4 and Xbox One, as weird as that remains to say—will allow players to host sessions from up to 18 modes across nearly 30 maps.

Forza Horizon 3 demo goes live for Xbox One

Launching in a little over two weeks, you could say that Forza Horizon 3 is on the … horizon. (Heyo!) To get players back into their groove, Turn 10 has released a playable demo for Xbox One. The trial features a tour of the features along with a portion of the map, several events, online free-roaming sessions, and a handful of rides. In addition to the Lamborghini Centenario, the demo garage also includes the BMW M4 Coupe, Ford Shelby GT350R, and 2014 HSV Limited Edition GEN-F GTS Maloo. The studio is currently hosting a look at the demo on their Twitch channel.

Forza Horizon 3 station and full track list revealed, pushing 150 songs

Turn 10 has detailed the soundtrack for Forza Horizon 3. As with the previous entries, FH3 will feature multiple radio stations that focus on a variety of genres. Eight stations will play almost 150 songs by artists from Epitaph, Hospital, Vagrant, and several other labels. There will also be several new stations playing classical, hip hop, indie rock, punk, and metal. The full station and track list has been posted below. Groove Music Pass functionality will also be supported for PC and Xbox One.

Doom – Free Update 3 to add Deathmatch, Private Matches

id Software’s upcoming patch for Doom will add Deathmatch and Private Matches. Free Update 3, scheduled to go live later this month, will allow players to go all-in versus everyone or just friends. The modes will also feature several customization options, including settings to change the time limit and score limit, remove power weapons, and turn off demons. A teaser was released offering a brief look at the upcoming patch. Those wanting to see it demonstrated live can check out a livestream next Tuesday at 1 p.m. (CST) on Twitch.

343 Industries has released Halo 5: Guardians – Anvil’s Legacy, the entry’s ninth free add-on, and Halo 5: Forge for Windows 10. Accompanying the launches are two overview trailers, one for each drop. Studio head Josh Holme also released a letter going into greater detail about how the two tie together, and what the release of Forge for PC means for the future of Halo 5. The footage is taken from gameplay, but spliced together to offer a wider look at the thriller’s characters and environments.
