Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered celebrates St. Patrick’s Day

Raven is getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with a new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The promo is currently ongoing and features a free themed map, Daybreak, a modified version of Downpour, which also has in-game challenges to earn the holiday-styled weapon camo Folium. Players also receive a free weekly Supply Drop by logging in. Other themed goodies include calling cards, camos, emblems, reticles, and an unlockable playable character, Darren “Graves” Cosgrave. The event, further detailed on Activision’s blog, will end at 2:00 p.m. (CST) on April 3.

Destiny – Age of Triumph second reveal livestream this Wednesday

Bungie will be hosting their second livestream for Age of Triumph on Wednesday. Beginning at noon (CST) on March 15, players will be able to see more of the final update for Destiny 1 in Rituals and Strikes. The event will be hosted by senior designers Tim Williams and Joe Sifferman on the studio’s Twitch channel. Age of Triumph is set to go live on March 28.

Nine new screenshots released from Dark Souls III: The Ringed City

Bandai Namco has sent out nine screens from the final downloadable expansion of Dark Souls III, The Ringed City. In the titular Ringed City, players will be seek out the Slave Knight Gael in search of the Dark Soul of Humanity. More of the quest can be seen in the latest images, which “highlight the lost wanderers, royal residents, and fearsome beasts that inhabit the fabled city at the end of the world.”

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap launching for consoles on April 28

Retro platforming will be returning on April 18 with the release of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. For console players, that is. PC gamers will have to wait a little longer, as the updated Master System classic is slated to launch a few weeks later. The latest version features updated visuals, along with an option to revert back to the original graphics on the fly, as well as passcode support.

Forza Horizon 3 – Duracell Car Pack, free ride going live tomorrow

Forza Horizon 3 is getting seven additional rides tomorrow in the Duracell Car Pack. The final Car Pass download will add the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 2015 Jaguar XES, 1992 Ford Falcon GT, 1983 Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution, 1995 Nissan Nismo GT-R LM, 1959 BMW 507, and 1972 Land Rover Series III. There’s also a bonus: the Duracell-themed 2016 GTA Spano. The freebie is available for all players, and can be downloaded from the Xbox Store under “Forza Horizon 3 GTA Spano.” Details for all of the vehicles can be found below.

CI Games pushing Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 back to late April

CI Games has announced that they have delayed their open-world action title Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. Gamers don’t have to wait much longer, though, as the new date is only three weeks later, April 25. According to the release, the additional time will be used to implement feedback received during the last beta. Currently, the game features weapon customization, vehicles, dynamic weather, and a day-and-night cycle.

Destiny – Age of Triumph Reveal livestream to detail final update

Bungie will be taking to their Twitch channel on Wednesday to show off the final live update for Destiny 1. The event, dubbed Age of Triumph Reveal, will be the first of three livestreams surrounding the patch. The debut stream is set to be hosted by lead designer Ryan Paradis and senior Raid designer Joe Blackburn. Outlast to get physical on April 25 with bundle release Outlast Trinity

Warner Bros. is teaming up with developer Red Barrels for a physical release of Outlast. The disc version will be a bundle that collects Outlast, Outlast Whistleblower, and Outlast 2 into one package titled Outlast Trinity. The first game, released in 2013, sets players in the remote Mount Massive Asylum in Colorado as journalist Miles Upshur, while the downloadable expansion, Whistleblower, covers events prior to the original. Outlast 2 is taking a different course, following cameraman Blake Langermann and his wife Lynn as they investigate the murder of a pregnant woman in the Arizona desert. Fans of the series can pick it up on April 25 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the same day that Outlast 2 is set to launch digitally.

Dreamcast shooter Ghost Blade HD released for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U

Indie developer Hucast Games has officially released their Dreamcast title Ghost Blade HD for PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U. The $9.99 bullet-hell-style vertical shooter, said to be inspired by similar releases from the 1990s, features two-player local co-op, five stages, three ships, leaderboard support, and three difficulty levels. Players will be able to blast their way through several modes, including Practice and Score Attack.
