Ubisoft has released a new video from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist. The latest footage features tech ops specialist Charlie Cole detailing some of the gadgets and personnel that will aid Fisher in his mission to hunt down and stop the Engineers. It’s over seven minutes of profile debriefs, espionage, broken bones, and gun fights.

New DuckTales: Remastered trailer, screenshots released

Capcom has released a new video for their upcoming platformer DuckTales: Remastered. The trailer features Launchpad in a video postcard to Scrooge giving gamers tips for making their way through a dangerous mine. Another video has been posted as well, a behind-the-scenes look from developers WayForward. In the latter video, gamers get a peek at what it took for the studio to create the game’s hand-drawn sprites in a new five-minute entry in their Duckumentary series.

Infinity Ward to debut Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer live on Aug. 14

A livestream reveal of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer component will air later this month, according to Activision. The studio has announced that Infinity Ward will be holding a global reveal on August 14 at 10:30 a.m. (PDT) at CallofDuty.com. The release noted that the event “will go in-depth on all things multiplayer,” so mark those calenders, fellow virtual warriors.

DuckTales: Remastered release dates announced, trailer released

The recently announced DuckTales: Remastered from Capcom and Wayforward has been officially dated, and we have three dates: August 13, August 20, and September 11. The downloadable versions for PC, PS3, and Wii U versions will launch on August 13, while the Xbox Live version will launch on September 11 for 360. A special boxed version, exclusive to PS3, will launch on August 20, which is set to include a download code for the game and an exclusive collector’s pin. The game will run $14.99 for the digital versions and $19.99 for the boxed retail version. To celebrate, Wayforward has launched the first in a new video Duckumentary series, showing some behind-the-scenes footage of the development process.

New Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag narrated gameplay video released

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag’s director Ashraf Ismail talks gamers through the life of a pirate in a new gameplay trailer. The footage features Edward Kenway, Royal Navy officer turned pirate, sailing the ocean in search of treasure to loot and enemy ships to capture. Kenway upgrades a captured ship, takes on new crew members, and takes controls of a fort after a successful raid.

The quarter-destroying duo of Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara have been brought back from the past with the release of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara today for PC and PS3 and tomorrow for 360. The Iron Galaxy-developed double pack features both beat ‘em ups and a host of extras, including unlockable concept art, new House Rules customization options, and four-player local and online multiplayer support with drop-in/drop-out play. Players will select one classic D&D class, from the deadly warrior to the powerful mage, and go on an adventure that features branching paths, a lite RPG-style leveling system, and a new dynamic Challenge system.

Resident Evil Revelations to be available in stores, online tomorrow

The console re-release of Resident Evil Revelations has shipped to retail and will be in stores tomorrow. In addition to physical copies being available for 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U, Revelations will also be available online on eShop, PSN, and Steam, and in the near future on Live Games on Demand. Set between Resident Evil 4 and 5, Revelations follows Jill and Chris, along with other members of the BSAA, as they investigate the T-Abyss virus and the events surrounding the destruction of Terragrigia. The new version features updated visuals, the new Infernal Mode difficulty level, the new Wall Blister enemy, and new weapons and skills for Raid Mode.

New Splinter Cell Blacklist co-op mode trailer, screenshots released

Ubisoft has revealed more of Splinter Cell Blacklist’s co-op multiplayer with a new trailer and batch of screenshots. Fisher will be assisted by a handful of allies in his missions, who will provide intel and assign tasks that can be completed to earn a special currency that unlocks access to new weapons and gear. One of the agents, Isaac Briggs, who is also featured in the trailer, will join in whenever another player wants to lend a hand. The Strategic Mission Interface, a new addition to the series, will be used to link single-player and co-op play.

Resident Evil Revelations Wii U trailer released, contest announced

Capcom has released a new trailer for the Wii U version of the upcoming 3DS re-release Resident Evil Revelations.
