Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut (Wii U) Announcement - Screenshot 1

In the ‘pleasantly surprising news’ category, Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing a Director’s Cut of Eidos Montreal’s action role-playing game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. What should excite Wii U owners the most isn’t the GamePad support for touchscreen hacking and map editing, Miiverse integration, inclusion of the Missing Link DLC, developer commentary, or improved graphics, control, and AI. No, they should be excited about the overhauled boss fights. Not that the other stuff isn’t worth getting excited about, because they should make a great game even better, it’s just that the boss fights were absolutely terrible.

Infernal Mode revealed for new version of Resident Evil Revelations

Capcom has revealed a new addition to the console and PC versions of Resident Evil Revelations, Infernal Mode. As the name implies, this is for those who scoff at hard mode and require something even more demanding. In addition to increasing the difficulty, Infernal will also move around enemies and items. I’m already frustrated. Also featured in the trailer is the Wall Blister, a new waterborne T-Abyss mutant.
