Rockstar has announced that two of their PS3 titles will hit PS Now next week. Beginning on December 6, players will be able to stream Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare on PC and PS4. Red Dead Redemption 2 is on schedule to launch next fall.

Debut trailer released for Red Dead Redemption 2

The video is just over a minute long and focuses primarily on the grand scale of the locations, including dense forests and planes with roaming buffalo, along with a few seconds of amounts to city life on the frontier. Red Dead Redemption 2 officially announced for PS4, Xbox One

After months of rumors, Rockstar has finally made it official: Red Dead Redemption 2 is in development. The studio plans on releasing the Western next fall, but is set to offer an early look this Thursday with a debut trailer. Aside from being described as “an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland,” the announcement also revealed that the game will feature a new online multiplayer experience.

Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare compatible with Xbox One

Red Dead Redemption is now backwards compatible for Xbox One. Rockstar’s ambitious, highly praised Western features reformed outlaw John Marston on a quest for revenge as he hunts down members of his old gang. The undead are also joining the party, as the entire line of titles is backwards compatible, not just the original: Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare, and Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition. Digital owners can download the titles from the Games Store, while physical owners will need to insert the game disc into their system in order to initiate the download.

Hard West has taken a macabre turn with its new downloadable add-on, The Scars of Freedom. The $2.99 scenario adds seven missions, 10 playable characters, and a storyline following an escaped slave named Libertee. After becoming a vigilante, Libertee falls into the hands of a demented surgeon who experiments on her. Now with supernatural abilities and a mangled body, she is on the hunt for revenge as she scours the land for the man responsible.

CreativeForge has released the first 15 minutes of gameplay from Hard West. The tactical role-playing game, set to launch next week, puts players in the spurs of Follow Warren, a man trying “to survive in a world full of hard choices and even harder consequences.” The footage highlights the strategic map, heavy use of narration, and a few of the unlockable skills. These are just a handful of the 40 missions he’ll have to undertake as he battles cannibals, cultists, and henchmen.

Hard West holsters its six shooter until November 18, trailers released

CreativeForge’s upcoming tactical, supernatural-tinged role-playing game Hard West has been delayed a few weeks to November 18. Originally scheduled to release on November 4, lead designer Kacper Szymczak stated that the additional time is necessary due to recent developments revealing “some excellent opportunities for improvements.” Instead of releasing a day-one patch, the studio decided to give themselves a bit more time to make sure the game’s up to snuff at launch. Two new trailers were released alongside the announcement, one touching on the new release date and the other, the second posted, featuring eight minutes of gameplay.

Hard West to launch on November 4, new trailer released

Hard West, a tactical role-playing title with a Western theme, will be hitting download outlets on November 4. As Warren, players take on the role of a man out for vengeance who must battle natural and supernatural forces, including cannibals and cultists, through 40 missions. Hard West is available for pre-order today for $19.99 as a standard version and for $24.99 as a Collector’s Edition, which comes with an art book, comic book, and soundtrack.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger announced, teaser released

Ubisoft has announced that Call of Juarez will be returning to its traditional Western roots with its next entry, Gunslinger. The publisher also released a minute-long teaser, which showcases a variety of the locales that are in desperate need of being shot up.
