PC gamers can test their might today with the release of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition. Available through Steam and other digital outlets, and starting August 6 in select retailers, the High Voltage Software-adapted Komplete Edition includes all of the DLC previously released for the 360 and PS3 versions. The full set of add-ons includes four character packs (Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and Freddy Krueger), 15 Klassic Skins, and three Klassic Fatalities (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile). Multiplayer is also supported with one-on-one combat and King of the Hill Mode, as well as gamepads and the Tournament Edition Fight Stick.

Techland wants gamers to fear the night in Dying Light

Techland, the busy developer behind the recently released Dead Island: Riptide and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, is currently at work on a new survival-horror title, Dying Light. According to publisher Warner Bros. Interactive, the game will center around a day-and-night cycle that will allow players to explore a relatively safe world during the day, free to scavenge and craft weapons, but pit them against predators and infected humans at night. A free-running mechanic was also mentioned as a prominent way for players to traverse the game’s dynamic open world.

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that they will be published Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for PC later this summer. Set for a digital release on July 3 and retail release on August 6, the High Voltage Software-ported Komplete Edition will include the original game as well as all available DLC. Midway Arcade Origins to bring 30-plus retro titles to 360, PS3

Midway has had a few popular compilations over the years, with last generation’s Arcade Treasure line being a noteworthy set, and Warner Bros. is ensuring that the current generation will get their retro fix with Midway Arcade Origins.
