Wargame’s latest entry, Red Dragon, is now in Beta Early Access. Gamers who have or will pre-order before the game’s release next month will be able to immediately access multiplayer. Eugen pivots to Asia with new Wargame Red Dragon screens

Eugen System has released a handful of new screenshots from the next entry in the Wargame series, Red Dragon. According to the release, the images reveal the models for the Z-9A helicopter as well as the HQ-7, Type-95, and Type-63 air-defense units. In addition to 450-plus new units, some of which being the series’ first naval and amphibian units, Red Dragon will also introduce five new nations, including China and North Korea .

Panzer Corps in development for iPad, sign-up begins for closed beta

Slitherine has announced that they will be publishing an iOS version of Lordz Games Studio’s turn-based wargame Panzer Corps Wehrmacht. The portable release, in development with Flashback Games Studio, will include the same content as the Windows PC original, including all 26 scenarios and 400-plus units, as well as all 10 downloadable Grand Campaigns for the Afrika Korps and Allied Corps expansions as in-app purchases. The studios are also seeking beta testers to assist with bug hunting and fine-tuning.

Eugen Systems is taking their Wargame series into Asia with their next release, Red Dragon. The upcoming real-time strategy title will be set between 1975 and 1991 and feature five new nations, including China and North Korea, as well as an increased emphasis on naval and amphibious units. Over 450 new units are planned, along with a new single-player campaign and multiplayer battles with support for up to 20 players. Three new screens were released to give a glimpse at what virtual generals can look forward to.

Eugen Systems has released a new expansion for their recently released strategy title, Wargame: AirLand Battle, Vox Populi. The free add-on includes a number of additions; the most notable of which is Conquest mode, making a return from the original Wargame, which allows players to achieve victory by holding the most territory when battling against one another or the AI. The rest of the additions include co-op support for Campaign mode, the option to select AI equipment type and nationality, 24 new units, and 5 new maps for Destruction and Conquest modes.
