Atlus has released a new English trailer for Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The video gives a quick overview of the game as well as shows off Vanillaware’s newly hand-redrawn artwork. A sample of the art book that’s being packed with first-print copies and the Storybook Edition has also been made available via Issuu, and posted below.
Atlus has revealed some more artwork from the Storybook Edition of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The art print of Alice and Socrates was released last week, and today the studio has sent the art of Valkyrie Gwendolyn that will appear on the metal slipcase. More VanillaWare art is never a bad thing.

The remaining goodies will include a 64-page hardcover art book, a ‘potion recipe’ T-shirt, and an outer box to store everything. The Storybook version is limited to PS4.
Atlus has announced that the upcoming Odin Sphere re-release, Leifthrasir, will be released on June 7. Coinciding with the news is the launch of the official website. Atlus has announced a Storybook Edition for Vanillasoftware’s Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The $79.99 limited edition will be exclusive to PS4 and come packed with a 64-page hardcover art book with work by George Kamitani and Vanillaware, a soon-to-be-revealed art print, a potion recipe t-shirt, a metal slipcase for the game, and an outer box. Standard version buyers won’t be completely left out, as those will come bundled with a 64-page softcover art book. A release window was also revealed: spring 2016.
Atlus has announced that they will be releasing an HD remake of Odin Sphere. Vanillaware is set to update the 2007 PS2 action role-playing title for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita as Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The new version will feature redrawn art, enhanced effects, and upgraded leveling and combat mechanics. The story will still contain the five protagonists and their associated storylines, but it will also be livened up with new monsters and fully voiced cutscenes.
Muramasa Rebirth, an enhanced re-release of Vanillaware’s 2009 Wii action-RPG, has shipped to retail for PS Vita. In Muramasa, players must scour Japan for the 108 demon blades, searching in the east as the ninja Kisuke and in the west as the possessed princess Momohime. The PS Vita version features updated visuals, two modes of play (hack-and-slash and traditional), and access to upcoming character and scenario downloadable content.
Atlus has announced that Vanillaware’s upcoming beat ‘em up Dragon’s Crown will come with free launch DLC. The pack will replace the original narrator with one of the six characters—Amazon, Dwarf, Elf, Fighter, Sorceress, or Wizard—depending on the player’s preference. The pack is free only for the first month, after which it will cost $1.99 to download.
