Assassin’s Creed III – The Tyranny of King Washington packs dated
All release dates have been announced for the upcoming three-part downloadable expansion for Assassin’s Creed III, The Tyranny of King Washington. The single-player campaign follows an alternate timeline where George Washington has himself crowned king and proceeds to terrorize the newly independent colonies. The packs, detailed below, will being their rollout on February 19 with The Infamy for 360, PC, and PS3, and on the Wii U at an unspecified later date.

Rayman Legends announced for 360 and PS3, delayed for Wii U
Rayman fans, there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is for 360 and PS3 owners: Rayman Legends has been announced for both systems. The bad news is for Wii U owners: the Wii U version has been delayed. With the decision to go multiplatform, Ubisoft has decided to have all titles launch at the same time, which is currently sometime in September. Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind the Wii U version, is also developing the 360 and PS3 versions.

Splinter Cell Blacklist gets Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition
Ubisoft has announced a premium edition for the next entry in the Splinter Cell series, Blacklist. The $169.99 Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition will be available on August 20 for 360 and PS3, and include, among other items, a remote control C-147B Paladin Aircraft and a limited 88-page graphic novel written by Nathan Edmondson. THQ announces results of asset sale, Crytek, Sega, Ubisoft buy
THQ has announced the results of their recent asset sale, and the details, which include the new homes of Homefront and Metro: Last Light, can be found below. In regards to what will be done with the acquired studios and properties, the company states that they expect “the new owners to extend employment to most employees and to continue development of the games they purchased that are currently in development.” All of those assets that were not sold, including Darksiders stewards Vigil Games, “will remain part of the Chapter 11 case.“ As of their announcement, the THQ estate will receive around $72 million and employee a small staff to assist during the transition period.

You might have thought that George Washington had no interest in becoming king, but you would be wrong. Well, technically you would be right, but we’re talking about alternate timelines here. The Infamy, the first in a three-part downloadable series centered on dethroning George Washing, Tyranny of King Washington, has been dated for February 19. The pack, available for 360, PC, and PS3, and later for Wii U, will cost $9.99/800 MS Points.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist box, screens, and trailer released
Ubisoft has released some new media for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist. The latest round includes a handful of new screenshots, the official box art, and the new inauguration trailer. The footage gives players a nearly two-minute glimpse of the stabbing, snapping, shooting, and scurrying they will do as Sam Fisher in his mission to stop the Blacklist terrorist attacks.

Far Cry 3 goes all in with release of Deluxe Bundle DLC
Far Cry 3 got a shot in the arm today with the release of the all-in-one Deluxe Bundle DLC for 360, PC, and PS3. The pack, detailed below, include six single-player missions, four new animals, new weapons for the campaign, new weapon unlocks for multiplayer, a new character, and two end-of-match movies. All told, the Bundle includes everything from the four previously released packs: The Lost Expeditions, The Monkey Business Pack, The Warrior, and The Predator Pack.

Ubisoft has just launched a new round of DLC for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Assassin’s Creed III, The Battle Hardened Pack.
