A new letter from Turn 10 Studios’ community manager, Brian Ekberg, has revealed that the developer plans on adding two more monthly car packs to the Car Pass. The additions will bring the total packs for the pass up to eight and are scheduled for release in June and July. The June pack will go live next Friday, May 30. Just what will be included in the download isn’t known and will only be detailed at launch. The full letter can be found below.

Forza 5’s roster has expanded by another 10 rides today with the launch of the Meguiar’s Car Pack. Details for each addition are available below, but a few of the standouts include the 2013 BMW M Performance M3 Racing Car, 1958 Aston Martin DBR1, and 1940 Ford De Luxe Coupe. Meguiar’s Car Pack is $9.99.

Forza 5 is adding another car pack to its ever-increasing library of DLC, this time from Honda. Available today, the Honda Legends Car Pack adds three cars for download: the redesigned 2014 Civic Si Coupe, the 1984 Mugen CRX, and the 1994 Prelude Si. Ten new cars will be added to Forza 5’s roster next Tuesday, according to MS and Turn 10 Studios. The latest downloadable drop, the Smoking Tire Car Pack, will run $10 and count among its roster the 2000 BMW Z8, the 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, the 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo, and the 2011 Ferrari FF. Additional details on all of the new rides can be found below. The cars can be purchased as a set or individually using either tokens or in-game credits.

Turn 10 Studios addresses player complaints regarding Forza 5

Forza developer Turn 10 Studios has responded to some of the complaints regarding the price of cars and tokens, including the inability of Limited Edition owners to purchase any vehicle in the game, which was supposed to be part of the package, and the low credit payouts. Community manager Brian Ekberg has announced the studio’s plans to address the issues, such as offering a 50 percent credit and token discount, free cars, and additional compensation for those affected. Microsoft has announced the post-launch support Turn 10 has in store for Forza Motorsport 5. A total of six 10-car packs are scheduled for release, with the first pack launching on November 22, and the rest following on a monthly basic from January through May. The first out the gate, the LaFerrari Car Pack, will launch alongside the Xbox One and include the rare titular hypercar. More info on the remaining cars in the inaugural pack will be revealed on November 18.

Turn 10 Studios is preparing for the Xbox One launch with two special editions of Forza Motorsport 5, the Limited Edition and the Day One Edition. Both versions are available for pre-order, with the Limited Edition coming with the Limited Edition Car Pack, which includes five rides, VIP Membership for more rewards and events (plus an exclusive five-car VIP pack), and the Day One Car Pack. The Day One Edition, a special pre-order and launch release of the standard version, includes the three-car Day One Car Pack as well as themed packaging that matches the console’s design. Open-wheel cars to debut in Forza Motorsport 5, screens released

Open-wheel cars will be making their Forza debut in Forza Motorsport 5, according to developer Turn 10 Studios. The new additions include cars from current and past grand prixs as well as Formula 1. Some of the announced rides include the 1976 McLaren M23, the 1976 Ferrari 312-2, and a selection representing four of the Izod IndyCar Series’ top teams (Andretti Autosport, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Target Chip Ganassi Racing, and Team Penske).
