In addition to Comic-Con, the company has not only released a new title expanding the BioShock universe but also details on the upcoming Halo: Primordium and The Moon Maze Game. The big news, though, is the release of BioShock: Rapture. Penned by John Shirley (Eclipse, Black Glass), Rapture is a prequel to the first game and details Andrew Ryan’s rise and the founding of the now-famous underwater city. Gamers interested to find out more about life before the civil war can pick up a copy for $14.99.

Tor announces Comic-Con 2011 signings, chats, contests, and more

Tor, publisher of many a fine sci-fi titles and game novelizations, is ramping up for a double whammy: Comic-Con and their monthly #Torchat. The company’s booth, #2707, will host signings, giveaways, and a live #Torchat on Thursday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thirteen authors will be on hand for signings, including Vernor Vinge, Brandon Sanderson, George R.R. Martin, and Bill Willingham. Four members of the Tor Brigade will also be around for the chat and festivities: Theresa DeLucci, Laura Fitzgerald, Patty Garcia, and Justin Golenbock.
