The Evil Within 2 trailer introduces (killer) photographer Stefano

A new trailer for The Evil Within 2 shows one of the human monsters that players will have to contend with as Sebastion. The highlighted terror is former war photographer Stefano Valentini, who has somehow made his way into the STEM world. Described as “an artist with dark proclivities and unbounded imagination,” he went insane after losing an eye in an explosion, eventually becoming obsessed with taking photos of subjects during their final moments. In an effort to capture people during this precarious time, he ends up turning into an infamous serial killer to ensure that he has plenty of chances to get the perfect shot. He isn’t alone, either, as he is joined by one of his creations, Obscura.

Learn how to survive amidst chaos in new trailer for The Evil Within 2

Players are going to see what it takes to ‘Survive’ in a new trailer for The Evil Within 2. The psychological thriller from Tango Gameworks follows players as they take control of Sebastian as he attempts to find his daughter, Lily, before she is lost within a STEM world. Pre-orders will get a slight leg up in their journey, with word that everyone who puts down money early will receive The Last Chance Pack. The drop will include the exclusive burst handgun, crafted supplies, and medical supplies.

E3 2017 – Bethesda: Wolfenstein II, Dishonored, Skyrim NS, VR

Bethesda had a strong showing with support for a number of their popular franchises. They also revealed an initiative that encompasses several of them, Creation Club. The system is for Fallout 4 and Skyrim and is set to offer curated, free mods for players and cash for creators. The Evil Within: The Consequence wraps up Det. Kidman’s tale

Juli Kidman’s story comes to its end today with the release of The Evil Within’s second download pack, The Consequence. Set immediately after The Assignment, players will see detective Kidman through her two-part downloadable side story. As before, players will get to see what she was doing during the original game while separated from Sebastian, which will involve her encountering new enemies and uncovering more about the Mobius group.

The Evil Within: The Assignment calls in Kidman, out for console, PC

The Evil Within: The Assignment, the first of a two-part downloadable side story, is available on Live, PSN, and Steam. The Assignment is set during the original game and follows Sebastian’s partner, detective Juli Kidman, during their time apart. Her encounter differs from Sebastian’s in that she encounters new enemies, uncovers different information about the ongoing events, and has her own dealings with Mobius. The second part of her storyline will be available in The Consequence, set to go live this spring.

The Evil Within DLC The Assignment announced, launching March 10

The Evil Within will be receiving its first downloadable add-on next month with The Assignment. Scheduled to launch on March 10, The Assignment is the first of a two-party side story that follows Sebastian’s partner Juli Kidman during the main campaign. The expansion will feature new enemies and locations, as well as more behind the group Mobius. Players can see The Assignment in action on Bethesda’s Twitch channel on March 6 at 3 p.m. (CST). Part two, The Consequence, is scheduled to launch this spring.

Traps, crossbows, and more in new The Evil Within trailer

The Evil Within, Tango Gameworks’ upcoming survival-horror title, is due out next week, and Bethesda has released a new gameplay video. The trailer, Fight for Life, runs around three and a half minutes long and features more blood-splattered walls, monsters, and combat, but the focus this time is on traps. Traps can not only be used to lure enemies to their (final) death but also to construct new weapons, with the footage demonstrating a powerful mechanical crossbow. It’s one of the more action-packed videos to come out, plus it has an extended sequence with Pyramid Head’s long-lost brother, The Keeper.
