The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Hearthfire DLC launches for PS3
PlayStation 3 owners looking to make Skyrim a bit homier will be able to set down roots today with the launch of Hearthfire. The pack, available this week for 50% off, allows players to purchase land, build a home, and adopt children. Houses will start out as small cottages but can be customized and expanded to include such add-ons as an alchemy laboratory and an armory.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC available for PS3
After a harrowing wait, the PlayStation 3 has received its first round of Skyrim DLC today with the launch of Dragonborn. Adventurers can explore the island of Solstheim, braving its dungeons and equally dangerous wilderness, as well as meet its many inhabitants (and slay its many monsters) for $9.99—a launch-week promo discount of 50%. The other two drops, Hearthfire and Dawnguard, will be available this month as well, with Hearthfire launching on 19 and Dawnguard on 26.

Dragonborn DLC launches on Live for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Dragonborn, the latest DLC pack for Skyrim, is now available on Xbox Live for 1600 MS Points. The newest expansion adds the island of Solstheim, a land covered with charred wastes and frozen valleys set just off the coast of Morrowind. Players will be able to visit new towns, explore new dungeons, and undertake new quests. They will also be able to tame dragons by shouting at them. Well, harsh words do hurt.

Hearthfire launches on Live for Skyrim, time to set down some roots
If the home is where the heart is, then Skyrim now owns your heart and your soul. Hearthfire, available today on Live Marketplace for 360 (400 MS Points), allows players to buy a plot of land and construct their own home. Homes can be customized and expanded to include several room types, including an armory, garden, kitchen, and stable.

E3 2012 – Bethesda: Dawnguard, TES Online, Dishonored, and more

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to support Kinect
I did not see this coming: Bethesda has announced that they will be adding Kinect support for the 360 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The first of several free add-ons, Skyrim Kinect will feature over 200 Voice Commands, new special map functions, additional hotkeys, and more inventory-sorting methods.
