Mamma mia! New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition screens
Namco Bandai has released a new batch of screenshots for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition. The shots show off the character customization system, which looks to be capable of whipping up a decent Mario and Luigi, thanks to the inclusion of special Nintendo-themed costumes, Snoop Lion track suits (bizarre), and Tekken Ball.

Street Fighter X Tekken now available in stores, online for PS Vita
Street Fighter X Tekken has launched for PS Vita. The handheld version of the fighter features 55 brawlers, a gallery mode, multiplayer via 3G or Wi-Fi, front and rear touchpad support, near functionality, Cross-Play support with the PS3 version, and the new skill-based Burst Kumite survival mode.

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile launches for iOS on App Store
Capcom’s latest console crossover fighter has landed on the App Store today with the launch of Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile. Available for a limited-time promotional price of $2.99, SFxT Mobile features redesigned controls, 10 fighters, the new Gauntlet Mode survival mode, and multiplayer versus over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Global rankings are also available through Game Center.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in stores, ready to mix it up on 360, PS3
Tekken Tag Tournament 2, featuring none other than Snoop Dogg (?), has hit store shelves for 360 and PS3. The follow-up to the 2000 original sports the series’ largest roster to date, as well as a host of new features, such as the Fight Lab for learning the basics and more advanced combos, Pair Play for four-player action, and the ability to play solo against a single opponent or a tag team. Online play has also been augmented by the World Tekken Federation, a free service that tracks players’ stats and analyzes performance.

Street Fighter X Tekken PS3 to get DLC early, new PS Vita DLC
The Street Fighter X Tekken character DLC originally scheduled to launch with the PS Vita version this fall has been bumped up to July 31. The 1600 MS Point/$19.99 drop includes 12 characters, an even split with six for the Street Fighter roster and six for the Tekken: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy, Sakura, Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, and Lei Wulong.

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile announced for summer release
Capcom is bringing more of their brawlers to the App Store with Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile. The portable version, set to launch this summer, will be based off the console release but redesigned for touchscreen controls. The mobile version will also include new modes and a new form of the tag mechanic. The four-character roster includes Chun-Li, Kazuya, Nina, and Ryu.

Street Fighter X Tekken – final four, PC release date announced
Street Fighter X Tekken’s console release is quickly approaching, and with but a few weeks to go until 360 and PS3 gamers bash it out, Capcom has finally revealed the final four fighters as well as the PC release date. The Street Fighter roster is now two bosses stronger with the addition of Akuma and M. Bison, while Jin and Ogre join the Tekken side. With these last four, the game’s total combatant count clocks in at 38.

Mega Man and Pac-Man join PS3, Vita Street Fighter X Tekken roster
For far too long Pac-Man has been confined to the realms of an abyss-like maze, haunted by determined foes and given only the briefest of reprieves when delicious fruits give him the power to wreck vengeance on his tormentors. It is time for the beast to be unleashed. And unleashed it shall be in the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the upcoming crossover fighter Street Fighter X Tekken. The buildup to Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken continues today with a new batch of media, as well as the unveiling of six new combatants. The latest additions to the roster are split evenly between Street Fighter (Balrog, Juri, and Vega) and Tekken (Paul, Law, and Xiaoyu), striking a healthy balance.
