Dying Light video shows the difficulties of surviving after sundown

Techland has released a nine-plus-minute video showing off more of their upcoming action title Dying Light. The footage shows a bit of the combat switch-up that’s necessary as the game switches from day to night. During the day, the infected are slow and easily distracted, allowing players to use parkour to jump between rooftops and over fences, distract them with firecrackers, and take them down before becoming overwhelmed. When the game switches to night, they become more aggressive, harder to shake, and hungrier, which drives them to be more active, allowing them to climb, jump, and run. Regardless of the time of day, it looks like slide kicking a zombie-ish thing off a building will always be satisfying.
