Developer- and Publisher-specific Articles: T3 Entertainment
Fans of Mythos, the action-RPG created by the now-defunct Flagship Studios, will be happy to hear that the game is finding its footing again, courtesy of Hanbitsoft and T3Fun. The new version, Mythos Global, has been under development and is slated to enter open beta on February 2. European gamers bummed at the recent service shuttering by Frogster also have some good news as T3Fun has announced that the open beta will be available to most of Europe as well.
T3fun has plans to expand the recently re-launched Hellgate series with Hellgate Tokyo, a new expansion due out on September 22. After demons begin to invade Tokyo, players will be asked to leave London and assist in ridding the city of the roaming monsters. Tokyo will include a new storyline, new modes (cow room and base defense), 24 new levels, new bosses, new items, and the re-opening of Hell Mode for a greater challenge and even greater loot.
T3 Entertainment has sent word that their free-to-play rerelease of Hellgate will enter open beta on June 30. The open beta will include access to two new game modes, as well as four events to celebrate the occasion. The two modes are the PvP-based Duel Area and the Cow Room. The events include Guild Reservoir, Daily Supplies, To Level in Hell, and Level and Be Rewarded. More info about each is included below.
Closed Beta keys are now available for the T3 Entertainment Hellgate rerelease, which features the original game as well as the Tokyo expansion. Gamers looking to get in on the action, set to kick off on June 3 and end on June 5, will have to act quickly as keys are running out. Interested adventurers can head to the official site for details on how to apply for a key.
Rise from your grave! Flagship Studios’ hybrid first- or third-person shooter and quasi-MMO Hellgate: London is returning to the PC this summer. Well, sort of. After a long hiatus, the title will return as a free-to-play MMO simply titled Hellgate, with a closed beta set to run from June 3 to 5. T3 Entertainment, Redbana, and HanbitSoft, the triumvirate behind the relaunch, are expecting a full launch sometime “later this year.”
