Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition dated, trailer released
Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition will be making its way onto the 360 and PS3 later this summer. The download-only brawler will launch on August 23 on PSN and on August 24 on Live. Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition available for PC
Outlets on the Internets and across the land have fallen victim to relentless dragon-punching today with the launch of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Now available on store shelves and online at the Capcom Store, Steam, Gamers Gate, and more, the $39.99 follow-up to Super Street Fighter IV adds four characters (Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu, and), balance updates, and an enhanced Replay Channel. Super never found its way onto PCs, so this is an even more substantial release than its console counterparts, as Super introduced 10 new characters, two new online modes, and extra bonus stages to the base game. Prepare your thumbs, PC gamers. Prepare them well.

The retail version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition is now on store shelves for the 360 and PS3. For $39.99, gamers get four new characters, an enhanced Replay channel, and other goodies. A downloadable version was released earlier this month for 1200 MS Points/$14.99.

Super Street Fighter IV’s Arcade Edition premium update now available on Live, PSN
The digital upgrade release of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition for Super Street Fighter IV is now available for the 360 and PS3. For gamers who would prefer the physical route, Live and PS Network can be bypassed with a little patience as the standalone releases will hit store shelves later this month on June 28. The digital version is going for 1200 MS Points/$14.99 while the physical version will go for $39.99. SSFIV players will be able to play online against those with Arcade Edition by way of a free downloadable update. The Arcade Edition features four new characters, including Evil Ryu and Street Fighter III’s Yun and Yang, balance tweaks, an updated Replay Channel, and more.

Street Fighter X Tekken headed to PS Vita, Infamous’ Cole joins in
The freshly minted PlayStation Vita will be getting some of Capcom’s upcoming cross-franchise action with Street Fighter X Tekken. It was also announced that Cole MacGrath from Infamous will be a playable character in both the PS3 and Vita versions. Cole will join a lengthy roster of both Street Fighter and Tekken characters as they battle it out in a Street Fighter IV system adapted to suit both franchises as well as the tag team battle format. The Yoshinori Ono-produced brawler is scheduled to hit the PS3 in 2012; no release date was given for the portable version.
