Dungeons II has gone gold for Mac, SteamOS, and Windows PC. Scheduled to launch on April 24, the sequel allows players to assist The Dungeon Lord in expanding his domain into the land of man, as he spreads his influence aboveground by attacking cities. The campaign features two factions, 26 creatures, more heroes, and versus multiplayer for up to four players online or LAN. Total War: Attila gets Celts Culture Pack, Blood & Burning Pack

The Celts have invaded Total War: Attila as the latest playable faction. The Celts Culture Pack adds three playable tribes, the Caledonians, Ebdanians, and Picts. Each tribe has specific traits as well as shared abilities, such as access to Guerrilla Deployment for all units and an income boost from looting, raiding, and sacking. Also included are new objectives, skills, faction- and tribe-specific units, tier-five buildings, and narrative event chain. A new Blood & Burning pack was also released, adding blood, severed limbs, disembowelment, and decapitations. Sick solders throw up during combat, and blood appears in event screens.

The Celts are coming! Total War: Attila getting Celtic Culture Pack

Creative Assembly will be adding the Celts in Total War: Attila. The faction will host three playable tribes, the Caledonians, Ebdanians, and Picts. Steam Early Access version of Mordheim: City of the Damned updated

Rogue Factory has updated the Early Access version of Mordheim: City of the Damned. The tactical role-playing game has been beefed up with three new skirmish maps, one procedurally generated alongside the Bridge and the Library; max-level warbands for all four races; and a variety of graphical upgrades with the switch from Unity 4 to Unity 5. A few new screenshots were also released to show off the new maps.

Age of Wonders III: Eternal Lords arriving April, plus Linux, Mac ports

Triumph will be releasing a new download pack for Age of Wonders III, Eternal Lords, on April 14. The second add-on will feature a new story, a new class, new races, and more. The new story centers on a battle between Arvik, heir to the Kingdom of Frostling, who turns to necromancy to reclaim his power. To sit on the throne, he’ll have to decide whether to fight alongside his fellow Frostlings or fully embrace necromancy. Joining the classes are the monster-summoning Necromancers, who can also convert towns to undead cities. Two new humanoid races also join the ranks, the seafaring Frostlings along with a new feline humanoid race, the fast, desert-dwelling Tigran.

Homeworld Remastered Collection intro, HR2 story trailers released

Gearbox has released some additional trailers for Homeworld Remastered Collection. A story trailer for Homeworld 2 Remastered has gone live, which follows last week’s Homeworld Remastered story trailer, as well as an introduction to the series. An Introduction to Homeworld catches new players up to speed and refreshes returning veterans on the games’ mechanics, ship types, and controls.

NIS reveals Danganronpa Another Episode, Rodea the Sky Soldier

NIS held their press event recently and released new trailers and screens for four upcoming titles, two of which were revealed at the show. In addition to a new trailer for Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, a new Danganronpa was debuted, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, and a new action-adventure title for 3DS and WiiU from Sonic creator Yuji Naka, Rodea the Sky Soldier. Worlds of Magic goes goooold for PC, announced for PS4

Wastelands Interactive has sent word that their 4X strategy title Worlds of Magic has gone gold for PC and will be available on March 19. Additionally, the studio has partnered up with Polish publisher Teyon to release a version for PlayStation 4 with plans on releasing it later this year. Wastelands noted that the console version will feature the same content as the PC version, which includes 80-plus units, three gameplay modes, over 400 spells, and eight races: High Man, Unhallowed, Gray Elves, Draconians, Orcs, Dwarves, Dark Elves and Myrodants.

The Huns have arrived, Total War: Attila now available for PC

The Huns have begun their sweep across Europe today with the release of Total War: Attila. As with the original Rome and its expansion Barbarian Invasion, Attila follows Rome II and brings the timeline forward to the early medieval period. The empire is now split between Western and Eastern halves, and new factions have appeared, such as the Vikings and Goths. New features have also been introduced, such as expanded morale mechanics, including the ability to decimate a mutinous army, along with a branching skill tree, a more involved family tree, and city-management options.

Rome II and Company of Heroes 2 free for Make War Not Love promo

Total War: Rome II and Company of Heroes 2 are once again going head to head for Valentine’s Day. During the Make War Not Love weekend promotion, the communities of each title will be set against one another in three hour-long rounds. During that time, every in-game victory will be tallied for each side, and the winners will be awarded with free DLC for the victorious title. Special promo-only achievements can also be earned in each title. The competition begins at noon and ends at noon on February 15, and during this time, both games will be free to download through Steam and have their downloadable content discounted.
