Abyss Odyssey launching online this July for console and PC

Ace Team’s 2D side-scrolling action title Abyss Odyssey will be available online on July 15 for PC and PS3, and on the following day for 360. Atlus also announced that the official website has gone live at AbyssOdyssey.com, and that they are running a pre-order program for the PC version through Steam offering 33% off the suggested price of $14.99.

Payday 2: Big Bank DLC now available on Steam for PC

The PC version of Payday 2 has received a new DLC pack today, Big Bank. The $6.99 download features the Benevolent Bank, which sports better vaults and more guards than any previous bank but also houses bigger vaults and rewards. Since this is the biggest score to date, players will be able to engage a pre-planning phase to check out blueprints and choose power-ups, such as better weapons and getaway drivers. The pack also adds a new contact, The Dentist, voiced by Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito.

Dead Rising 3 announced for PC, to launch on Steam this summer

Dead Rising 3, formerly an Xbox One exclusive, will be making its way to PC later this summer. Capcom has announced that it will be a download-only release available through Steam. This version will feature “high PC resolutions with fully optimized visuals for the wide screen, upgraded textures on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.” As a Steam title, the game will support Steam Achievements, Clouds, and Trading Cards as well as support for global leaderboards and controllers.

Dark Souls II getting three chapter packs, The Lost Crowns trilogy

Three new chapters have been announced for Dark Souls II. Bandai Namco has announced that FromSoftware is currently developing three downloadable packs, dubbed the The Lost Crowns trilogy: Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King. The packs will drop on July 22, August 26, and September 24. Each will be available separately for $9.99 for console and PC and as a bundle for $24.99 as part of a Steam season pass for PC. The packs will add new areas, enemies, and bosses, with the first entry tasking players with exploring underground caverns dotted with pyramids in search of the crowns once owned by King Vendrick.

Originally released in Japan in 1990, Final Fantasy III not only introduced the popular job system but was also the first in the series to sell over a million copies. Larian has revealed a limited Collector’s Edition for their upcoming role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin. The studio also announced that an Early Access update has added support for Macs. The Collector’s Edition is limited to 1,500 sets and includes two copies of Original Sin for co-op play, digital copies of its predecessors Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, recipe cards, a cloth map of Rivellon, and more, detailed below. Dance, dance! Cosmic DJ now available via Steam Early Access

Devolver Digital has added another to Steam’s Early Access library, Cosmic DJ. Developed by Gl33k, the “psychedelic sound design game” puts players behind a set of digital turntables as the Cosmic DJ of Legend, who has been tasked with repairing Jamtennas throughout the galaxy by using a tap-based sequencer and precision grid sequencer. In my mind, one cannot call themselves the Cosmic DJ of Legend until all six levels have been made funky again, but we’re also known for rigorous titling practices. So go forth, and return the rhythm to the galaxy.
