Two new characters have been revealed from Tales of Berseria. Three screenshots highlight the half-siblings Teresa Linares and Oscar Dragonia. The duo are from the Abbey, the power behind the Holy Midgand Empire. The order battles those humans who have succumbed to the Daemonblight disease and turned into daemons. Oscar Dragonia is a Praetor exorcist from an aristocratic family, while his older half-sister, Teresa Linares, is also a Praetor and governs the town of Hellawes.

Megadimension Neptunia VII heading to Steam this summer

Idea Factory will be bringing Megadimension Neptunia VII to Steam later this summer. Currently available for PS4, the PC version will include the original Japanese voiceover track as well as all of the downloadable content. Players must guide Neptune and Nepgear as they assist the Zero Dimension’s remaining CPU Uzume Tennouboshi in her battle against the world’s Dark CPU. The game features three worlds along with three different storylines, a new transformation mode, a new dungeon minigame, and a revamped battle system.

Cave’s Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu hitting Steam later this year

Degica will once again be porting over a Cave shooter to PC, Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu. Released in Europe for Xbox 360 as Dodonpachi Resurrection, the bullet-hell-style horizontal shooter will feature three ships with their own style of play, two-player co-op, and support for Steam trading cards, cloud saves, and leaderboards. As a daring pilot, players must stop an android, known as Next EXY, and her band of Elemental Dolls from altering history.

Degica bringing all-female fighter Koihime Enbu to Steam

Koihime Enbu, an all-girl brawler, is heading to Steam next month, courtesy of Degica. BaseSon and Unknown Games’s fighter is slated to launch on May 19, and is currently up for pre-order. Based on the Koihime Musou visual novel, the game is set in an alternate version of the Romance of Three Kingdoms where women dominate the battlefield. The roster will include 13 characters, along with 7 assist characters, who will have access to a Tactics Meter for an array of powerful moves (special, ex, super, and ultimate) and the Fatal Counter system for extending combos. In addition to an arcade mode, the game will also feature Replay Mode for saving and viewing previous bouts and Versus mode to battle others locally or online.

Degica is preparing to roll out another shooter for PC, RefRain -prism memories-. Slated to hit Steam on May 12, RefRain is cyberpunk-style bullet-hell shooter that focuses on speed and aggression. Players have access to three different ships, each with their own attack modes, a gauge that charges special attacks as enemies are damaged, and the ability to transform projectiles into prisms to replenish the gauge faster.

Stranger of Sword City headed to Steam this June for Windows PC

NIS has announced that their upcoming PS Vita dungeon-crawler Stranger of Sword City will be hitting Steam. Scheduled to launch this June, the PC version will feature a new mode, Picture Gate. The mode will allow players to upload an image to be used in-game for a character portrait. An example was sent along to show off a Prinny that’s been added using the feature. Players awake to find themselves in the city of Escario, the sole survivor of a plane crash. And not only that, but according to the three ruling factions, also the Chosen One. They must use their newfound power to hunt monsters through various labyrinths in order to gather rare crystals that will make them stronger as well as help them find a way home.

Black Forest Games, creators of Giana Sisters, have released a new run-and-gun shooter on Steam, Rogue Stormers. Described as “Contra on steroids” and “Metal Slug in hyperspeed,” Rogue Stormers is a fast-paced shooter where up to four players blast through hazard-filled procedurally generated levels housed in five biodomes. As one of five characters, solo or in a squad (online or local), players will battle orcs, goblins, and other horrors as they scramble for random loot drops and trigger traps to maximize damage.

Later today, Arc System Works will be releasing French Bread’s 2D fighter Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code for Windows PC. The fighter is slated to go live on Steam at 8 p.m. (CST). Each brawler has access to one of three fighting styles—Crescent Moon, Half Moon, and Full Moon—as well as an individual storyline in Arcade Mode. Local and online multiplayer is also supported.
