Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy to go to China, India, and Russia

Ubisoft has announced the next three titles in the Assassin’s Creed line, and all will be released as part of the Chronicles trilogy. Each release will follow a different assassin in a 2.5D adventure, with the first entry set to take players to China on April 21. The characters are from other properties within the franchise, from the animated short Assassin’s Creed Embers (Shao Jun) and graphic novels (Arbaaz Mir, Nikolaï Orelov). The trilogy will be tied together, but each game will not only adopt its own art style but also be set in different periods, including the Ming dynasty, Sikh Empire, and shortly after the Red October revolution.

El Presidente is making the shift from benevolent to malevolent in the latest download pack for Tropico 5, Supervillian. The set includes a new standalone scenario that tasks players with becoming the world’s most dangerous villain by building an underground lair and fitting it with a new giant laser. The pack also adds a moustache avatar accessory, the Isla del Pescado sandbox map, and a new music track along with added voice overs.

Dungeons II has gone gold for Mac, SteamOS, and Windows PC. Scheduled to launch on April 24, the sequel allows players to assist The Dungeon Lord in expanding his domain into the land of man, as he spreads his influence aboveground by attacking cities. The campaign features two factions, 26 creatures, more heroes, and versus multiplayer for up to four players online or LAN. Resident Evil Revelations 2 out now in full online, as physical release

Capcom has released the physical version of Resident Evil Revelations 2. The $39.99 set includes all four downloadable episodes along with two spin-off episodes, the Throwback Map Pack for Raid Mode, two extra characters for Raid Mode, and four alternate costumes. A patch will also add online co-op for Raid Mode on March 31. All four episodes can also be downloaded for $5.99 each and the spin-off episode for $4.99, or they can be purchased altogether digitally as part of the Complete Season pass for $24.99. The difference between the Complete Season and the disc version is the latter’s inclusion of Wesker in Raid Mode, the alternate costumes, and the map pack.

Rogue Factory has updated the Early Access version of Mordheim: City of the Damned. The tactical role-playing game has been beefed up with three new skirmish maps, one procedurally generated alongside the Bridge and the Library; max-level warbands for all four races; and a variety of graphical upgrades with the switch from Unity 4 to Unity 5. A few new screenshots were also released to show off the new maps.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood standalone digital prequel coming in May

Wolfenstein: The New Order is getting a standalone, digital prequel later this year from MachineGames. Scheduled to launch May 5, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will take players back to 1946 as B.J. Blazkowicz attempts to halt the Nazi’s progress in a two-part mission set within Bavaria. The first part, Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves, tasks players with breaking into Castle Wolfenstein, while the second, The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs, sees them fighting a Nazi archaeologist meddling in dark forces within the city of Wulfburg. More details will be revealed at PAX East at 12:30 p.m. (CST) on Friday and Saturday on Twitch.tv.
