Two newcomers to the Tales series have been introduced in new screenshots from Tales of Berseria. Members of the clergy, Melchior and Shigure Rangetsu, are joining the adventure. The two are from the Abbey, experts at exorcism, with Melchior being an elder who is experienced in alchemy and knowledgeable about ancient legends. Shigure is described as being more carefree and known for taking on tough tasks, but also as not being very popular in the organization.

A new video, titled System Trailer, has been released for Yomawari: Night Alone. The open-world survival-horror-styled adventure is set to be released this fall, and the footage offers a first look at how players will survive their time in a haunted world. (There’s a lot of running in fear involved.) Armed with a flashlight, players will have to make their way through an alternate realm as they search for the protagonist’s sister and dog.

Sayonara Umihara Kawase update adds support for VR via HTC Vive

Degica has updated Sayonara Umihara Kawase with support for HTC Vive. The free update adds a new point of view, Diorama Mode, to the puzzle-platforming adventure. Sayonara Umihara Kawase is one of three titles included in the Umihara Kawase Trilogy, alongside Umihara Kawase and Umihara Kawase Shun Steam Edition. Each game can also be purchased separately. In a related note, RPG Maker, also from Degica, now has purchasable Umihara Kawase-themed assets.

TriZeal Remix joining Shooting Love 20XX line on Steam on July 7

Shooting Love 20XX’s third entry, TriZeal Remix, will launch on July 7 for PC. The game will feature two-player local co-op, replay mode, and support for Steam Leaderboards and Cloud saves. Players will pilot a ship capable of swapping between three weapons—wide shot, narrow laser, and guided missile—that will fire even when another is selected if sufficiently upgraded. There’s also another, unlockable ship, for those that put in the time. For shooter fans enjoying the second release of the Shooting Live 20XX collection, Minus Zero, Degica is hosting a competition running from today until 8 p.m. (CST) on June 20. Details are below.

The $5.99 download is up for current-gen consoles and PC, and was previously included as a bonus with the various premium editions (Juggernog, Hardened, and Digital Deluxe) and as part of the Season Pass. PS3 owners can also grab it for the same price as well, though Xbox 360 players will have to wait a bit longer.

Deadly Tower of Monsters developer Ace Team is returning to world of rolling boulders for the good of mankind with Rock of Ages II: Bigger and Boulder. The epoch-spanning tower-defense-styled title will continue in its predecessor’s footsteps by having players crush whatever is in their path. After Atlas misplaces an item necessary to keep the world running smoothly, rulers throughout history have decided to run amok. Various periods of art history are being used to represent the struggle, from Surrealism to Late Gothic, as players attempt to defend their resource nodes and destroy enemy castles. New to the series is a four-player competitive co-op mode where two teams of two try to gather resources and build defenses while destroying their rivals.
