BlizzCon 2013 set for November, tickets to go on sale April 24, 27
Blizzard’s two-day festival of all things Craft (and Diablo) is set to once again take over the Anaheim Convention Center this November. For those looking to attend, Blizzard has announced that tickets for BlizzCon will be sold in two batches, on April 24 at 7 p.m. and 27 at 10 a.m. (Pacific). There will also be a limited number of tickets to a dinner prior to the show in support of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, which will go on sale May 1 at 7 p.m.

Blizzard details StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm launch events
The Zerg know how to do two things, swarm outposts and party. The latter is a little-known fact, but come March 11, they will be doing plenty of both with the launch of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. Blizzard will be holding several parties around the globe to celebrate the release, with festivities planned in the US, Australia, France, Russia, South Korea, and elsewhere. Each location will host Blizzard staff who will be on-hand to greet fans. The official US party will be at the GameStop in Irvine, California, located at The Great Wheel Court of the Irvine Spectrum Mall, 71 Fortune Drive.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty – Patch 2.0.4 now online
Blizzard is gearing up for the impending release of Heart of the Swarm, the first expansion for StarCraft II, with a new update for Wings of Liberty. The studio has released three videos detailing what’s been changed and added, as well as summaries, included below. Some highlights include new streamlined menu screens, increased privacy options to hide build order and match history, an increase in player party size to 16, and Unranked Play for matchmaking.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty sells over three million first month out
Blizzard’s decade-in-the-making real-time strategy behemoth StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has sold over 3 million copies in its first month on the market. Day one sales surpassed one million copies while another 500,000+ were sold over the course of the subsequent 24 hours. According to Blizzard, StarCraft II is “the bestselling PC game of 2010 and the fastest-selling real-time strategy game of all time.”
