NeoGeo X Gold Limited Edition Set to launch this week
Retro gamers looking to relive SNK’s golden years will be able to get extra nostalgic later this week when the NeoGeo X Gold Limited Edition Set launches at select online retailers. The $199.99 set includes an Arcade Stick and two systems, the Station, a reproduction home arcade entertainment system (AES), and Handheld, which houses 20 pre-loaded games and can be docked in the Station.

SNK Playmore adds eight minis to PSN for PS3 and PSP
More news out of SNK Playmore, following the recent announcement of The King of Fighters ’95 and Baseball Stars 2 hitting the NeoGeo Station for PSN. Today the company sent word that eight “Arcade Classics” will be launching on the PS Store as PlayStation minis for the PS3 and PSP. The collection includes titles ranging from platformers to shooters, with each going for $2.99.

NeoGeo Station to get The King of Fighters ’95 and Baseball Stars 2
Some non-Comic-Con news today with SNK Playmore’s announcement of two new titles set to launch on the NeoGeo Station. Available tomorrow via the New Release category and the SNK NeoGeo Featured Publishers page on the PS Network, players will be able to download The King of Fighters ’95 and Baseball Stars 2 for the PS3 ($8.99) and PSP ($6.99).

The King of Fighters-i now on App Store for iPad, iPhone, and iPod
The King of Fighters series returns to the handheld world today with the release of The King of Fighters-i for the iPhone, iPod touch, and—not designed for but tested and compatible with—iPad. The $7.99 Game Center-compatible fighter features 14 combatants, including the return of Billy Kane, Bluetooth local wireless play, ability to send/receive replay data, My Card gamer profile cards, and a Gallery mode with tradable art cards. The four main modes include Team Battle, Single Battle, Training, and the Endless endurance challenge.
