Relic, Sega unveil Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III for PC

Sega and Relic have heard the call of the Emperor and have responded in unison with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. The latest entry will feature a three-faction campaign and is said to be a combination of the first two titles, with the customizable hero units of the second along and the larger armies and base-building of the first. The Eldar, Orks, and Space Marines were all revealed in the newly released announcement trailer.

A new trailer has gone live for Tindalos Interactive’s upcoming Warhammer 40K-themed real-time strategy title Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. The latest video—aptly titled Overview Trailer—covers a little of everything, from the factions to skills, abilities, objectives, and combat. Pre-orders also get access to the beta today, which allows them to build an Imperium or Chaos fleet and play through the campaign prologue or battle against other players or the AI in one-versus-one skirmishes. Early adopters will also receive the Space Marine faction for free when they are added shortly after launch.

Kingdom sim Dungeons 2 heading to PS4 with all DLC this April

Kalypso will be releasing their hero-slaying kingdom sim Dungeons 2 for PS4 later this year. The console debut, set to launch on April 26, will include all previously released downloadable content on the disc. Four packs in total will be included: Pixieville, Morningwood, A Chance of Dragons, A Song of Sand and Fire, and A Clash of Pumpkins. The add-ons introduce new missions, enemies, and skirmishes. To show the game in action, Kalypso will be hosting a livestream today at 10:00 a.m. (CST) on their Twitch channel.

The video reveals that a mysterious object has been found that is believed capable of saving the desert planet of Kharak, and that an expedition has been formed to find it. Focus Home has released a new faction trailer for Tindalos’ upcoming real-time strategy title Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. The latest video covers one of the four navies that are battling for control of Gothic sector, the Imperial fleet. Despite not being the strongest or fastest, the battle-hardened ships have become adaptable to most situations, with their void shields, thick armor, torpedoes, and Nova cannon. Broadside Macro cannons and Lance batteries round out the arsenal, and if all else fails, the ships can use their hefty hulls to ram their enemies.

Console version of Grand Ages: Medieval gets new features, units

The PlayStation 4 version of Grand Ages: Medieval received a free update today, Siege & Conquest. The update adds two types of city walls, the Trebuchet Master siege engine, colony ships, pirates, and battle options to have troops retreat or adopt a stance (offensive or defensive). A few of the gameplay changes include scouts receiving additional health points and captured trade routes being more efficient. Act of Aggression hitting Steam tomorrow, launch trailer released

Eugen Systems has rolled out the launch trailer for Act of Aggression. Scheduled to launch tomorrow for PC, the real-time strategy game will feature three factions vying for global dominance. The US Army, Chimera, and Cartel will need to build bases, harvest resources, set up supply lines, and research new technologies in a callback to the real-time strategy titles of yesteryear. The campaign features two converging storylines, one for the Chimera and the other for the Cartel, while multiplayer supports skirmishes against the AI and up to eight players (four versus four online). The game is currently 15% off on Steam.
