Dungeon crawler Mind Zero launches on PSN for PS Vita

Inner Realm: Mind Zero, a new role-playing game from Aksys Games, has launched online for PS Vita. The dungeon-crawling adventure follows Kei and his group of friends after they find themselves in a weapon shop whose resident undertaker offers them loot for bizarre weapons. As the group continues through the Inner Realm in search of more items for trade, they discover it’s connected to their own reality, known as the Outer Realm. Players will use beings known as Minds to explore their new world, battling alongside them as the group makes their way deeper into the Inner Realm.

The Elder Scrolls Online first update adds new adventure zone, more

The first update has gone live for The Elder Scrolls Online. Additions include a veteran rank increase to 12, a Death Recap window that provides info about what occurred at the time of the player’s death, a bump of double experience for killing player characters, and the biggest, the first Adventure Zone, Craglorn. The new zone adds a new storyline and quests for Veteran Rank players as well as 12-player Trials. The full list of changes and additions can be found at the official site.

Players choose a race, gender, and sexual orientation, and play out a life in a game world that reacts to each choice they make. Beginning shortly after finding their love about to marry another, players will be given numerous choices throughout this new phase of their life, and each choice they make will impact an ever-branching story that is designed to change with each playthrough.

Zero makes her debut, Drakengard 3 launches in stores and online

Square Enix has launched Drakengard 3 in stores and online for PS3. As a prequel to the first Drakengard, players will venture around a medieval world in search of six beings known as Intoners. These demigods are the younger sister of protagonist Zero, who is on a mission to kill them, and her motives will be revealed as each is tracked down. In addition to the standard version, a Digital Collector’s Edition comes bundled with all of the extra downloadable content, which includes One’s Prologue, the Japanese voice pack, a giant baby hat (from the original Drakengard) for the dragon, Nier costumes, and six PSN themes.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga now on PSN

Atlus has been increasing their PSN presence lately with a handful of their older titles being released on the service as PS2 Classics. Today, Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga joins fellow franchise entries and recent additions Persona 4, SMT: Nocturne, and SMT: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army. Digital Devil Saga is based on the world of Nocturne, and introduces a shapeshifting ability that allows players to turn into demons as they battle for control of a wasteland known as The Junkyard.

A few new environmental screenshots have been released from Dragon Age: Inquisition. The images showcase the Western Approach, which includes the increasingly untenable Fortress of Adamant in what is now a wasteland. The official blog has been updated with more information on the fortress and its uncertain future as well as on what’s become of the Grey Wardens and the Darkspawn.

Divinity: Original Sin – Early Access adds Mac support, CE detailed

Larian has revealed a limited Collector’s Edition for their upcoming role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin. The studio also announced that an Early Access update has added support for Macs. The Collector’s Edition is limited to 1,500 sets and includes two copies of Original Sin for co-op play, digital copies of its predecessors Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, recipe cards, a cloth map of Rivellon, and more, detailed below. The Early Access update, also detailed below, adds a Mac version with Retina support, an improved Laptop Optimized mode, cross-system support for co-op play across Mac and Windows, Steam Cloud support, 10 extra talents, new skills and the ability to unlearn unlocked skills.

PS4, Xbox One versions of The Elder Scrolls Online delayed

Bethesda has released an update on the progress of the console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online. The statement, posted below, notes that there have been unforeseen challenges in developing the PS4 and Xbox One versions due to how different they are from the already available Mac and Windows PC versions as well as each other, and that overcoming these problems will require an additional six months. The studio is also offering owners of the Mac and Windows versions the chance to transfer their characters over to their preferred console version upon release and to buy a full digital version of the PS4 or Xbox One version, along with an additional 30 days of play time, for $20.

NIS has released a new batch of character screenshots from the upcoming Compile Heart- and GCrest-developed role-playing game Mugen Souls Z. The follow-up to 2012’s Mugen Souls will feature the return of Chou-Chou and her friends in a quest to assist the goddess Syrma, along with an increased level cap, new galactic attacks, and new G-Castle battles.
