A new trailer has gone live for Dark Souls III. The video, Accursed Trailer, reveals the shadows of life and light that followed fire into the world. There is also some general gameplay in the nearly three minutes of footage, including some of the player-versus-player combat, hordes of enemies, and giant bosses that players will face in the upcoming action role-playing game.

SE begins Star Log series for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness

Fallout 4 – Automatron DLC now available for console, PC

Automatron, the first download pack for Fallout 4, is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The $9.99 download introduces Mechanist, a new villain who leads an army of killer robots against the Commonwealth. Players can salvage parts from said killer robots to build customized companions. These robotic pals can be modified with various mods, abilities, armor, limbs, and paint schemes. Automatron will be followed by April’s Wasteland Workshop, which will introduce new settlement options, while a large new landmass will be added in May’s Far Harbor.

Sega has released a new video from 7th Dragon III Code: VFD giving an overview of the three different eras that will be visited by players. As the hero’s team takes advantage of Nodens Enterprises’ time-traveling technology to track down True Dragons, they will visit the ancient past, present, and future. Aside from modern Tokyo—well, modern as in 2100—players will go back to ancient Atlantis, with its dangerous lower wards and skilled blacksmiths, and futuristic Eden, a bleak land home three areas.

NIS has announced that Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book Limited Edition is now available for pre-order. The PS4 craft-heavy role-playing game will be available as a $99.99 limited edition that includes a copy of the game, a 48-page hardcover art book, a 2-disc soundtrack with a total of 38 tracks, a 40”x26” cloth poster, five 5”x7” mini art prints, and a collector’s box. New screenshots reveal two more characters from Tales of Berseria

Bandai Namco has introduced two more characters from the cast of Tales of Berseria. The new screenshots feature Magilou and Bienfu. Magilou is a self-professed sorceress that is described as carefree, while Bienfu is a diminutive creature known as a malak, beings that can harness the power of nature. The two have a rocky history, but the full details will have to wait until launch.

Gwendolyn introduced in new Odin Sphere Leifthrasir cast trailer

The first in a new series of cast trailers has gone live for Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The debut features the Valkyrie princess of Ragnanival, and daughter of Demon Lord Odin, Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn uses her Valkyrie training and deceased sister’s Psypher Spear to attack enemies head-on as well as from above. Her powers, augmented by the addition of a skill tree, include the ability to tossing a wave of icicles and summon a swarm of spears. Square Enix bringing I Am Setsuna stateside for PC and PS4

Square Enix’s announced at this year’s Game Developers Conference that Tokyo RPG Factory’s I am Setsuna is coming to North America for PC and PS4. The stated goal of the studio is to “capture the narrative depth, impactful storytelling and masterful character development inspired by the golden era of Japanese role-playing games and bring them to current hardware and technology.” To that end, they will be drawing on Square Enix’s past with I Am Setsuna by utilizing a combat system inspired by Chrono Trigger. More details should be coming along shortly.

Bethesda has released the first trailer for Fallout 4’s first downloadable add-on, Automatron. Blackguards – Definitive Edition hitting PS4, Xbox One this summer

Kalypso has announced that they will be releasing a console version of Daedalic’s role-playing game Blackguards. The tactical-heavy title will be available for PS4 and Xbox One as the all-in-one Definitive Edition that includes the original game and the downloadable pack Untold Legends. The drop adds new battle maps, quests, and weapons. After being falsely accused of murder, players set out for Ascania on a quest for revenge, but as an outlaw, their only company is a set of rogues with potentially menacing motives. As a hunter, mage, or warrior, they will have access to over 90 spells and 40 skills to see them through the 60-hour adventure.
