Atlus has revealed the premium edition and pre-order bonuses for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. The $49.99 standard release will include two pre-order/first-run bonuses: a set of tarot cards including Arcanas XI-XXI—the first set will be included with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax—and special packaging. The collector’s release, The Wild Cards Premium Edition, will cost $79.99 and include the same pre-order and first-run bonus tarot card set, an art booklet, a music CD with select tracks, a 3DS XL deluxe hard case, and special packaging. Atlus also emphasized that the extras and premium items will be limited and not re-released in the future.

Jude and Leia return in new Tales of Xillia 2 screenshots

Over a dozen new screenshots from Tales of Xillia have been released by Bandai Namco. Scheduled to release this August, the sequel follows Elle and Ludger on their way to the Land of Canaan, but the screenshots feature two of their friends, original adventurers Jude and Leia. Jude is now a researcher, trying to replace spyrix with spyrite, and Leia is a reporter for a newspaper in Elympios. Both are working towards unifying the peoples of Rieze Maxia and Elympios after the worlds came into contact with each other during the events of the first Tales of Xillia.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt editions, pre-order extras revealed

During their GOG.com Summer Conference, CD Projekt Red detailed a Collector’s Edition and pre-order bonuses for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Wild Hunt will be available in three versions: a digital version, a standard boxed version, and the Collector’s Edition. The standard physical release will include the game, the soundtrack, an informational book titled Witcher Universe – The Compendium, a map, a set of stickers, and a protective sleeve. The Collector’s Edition includes even more, adding a steelbook box, a 200-page art book, a Witcher medallion, and a 33x24x26 cm hand-painted figure of Geralt of Rivia fighting a Griffin. There will even be an inner and outer box to store the goods.

Dark Souls II getting three chapter packs, The Lost Crowns trilogy

Three new chapters have been announced for Dark Souls II. Bandai Namco has announced that FromSoftware is currently developing three downloadable packs, dubbed the The Lost Crowns trilogy: Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King. The packs will drop on July 22, August 26, and September 24. Each will be available separately for $9.99 for console and PC and as a bundle for $24.99 as part of a Steam season pass for PC. The packs will add new areas, enemies, and bosses, with the first entry tasking players with exploring underground caverns dotted with pyramids in search of the crowns once owned by King Vendrick.

Natsume has announced that they will be bringing a new Harvest Moon to the 3DS later this year. Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will again feature the farming and role-playing elements of its predecessors, as well as be the first 3D entry in the series. Customization will also be a focus, with players (slash farmers slash adventurers) capable of personalizing the world and fields. Additional details will be revealed at E3.

Drakengard 3 received several downloadable packs today, adding new missions, music, and costumes. Fans of the original will be able to reduce damage taken by 5% in Furiae’s Garb for $2.99, while fans of Drakengard 2 can reduce stamina loss by sporting the Eris’s Garb pack for $2.99. A music pack for $1.99, the Intoner Arrange Tracks, replaces the tunes played while Zero is in Intoner Mode. The biggest additions are the five Sister Prologues. Each $5.99 chapter (Zero, Two, Three, Four, and Five) includes a playable level and unique weapons, while a $29.99 bundle includes all five plus a bonus prologue for One.

The Final Mix versions of both Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep are set to hit stores later this year, according to Square Enix. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will include new abilities, cutscenes, mini-games, and weapons. Secret boss battles are also being added, as well as the HD remastered cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded. New screenshots were released to coincide with the announcement, and a dozen have been added below.

Square Enix is celebrating Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King’s 10th anniversary today with the release of a new version for Android and iOS. As the last survivor of King Trode’s army, Hero, players must find the jester who stole the sovereign’s scepter and caused his downfall. The mobile version features revamped touch-panel control with support for one- or two-hand play and a new battle system allowing for direct or automatic control, plus an auto-run mode, alchemy pot for item creation, and the ability to recruit monsters. According to Square Enix, the mobile version features the same 60-plus-hour campaign as the PlayStation 2 original.

Another Final Fantasy has made its way to PC today with the release of Final Fantasy III on Steam. Originally released in Japan in 1990, Final Fantasy III not only introduced the popular job system but was also the first in the series to sell over a million copies. The PC version features Steam Trading Cards and Achievements, new graphics for the Job Mastery Cards, 3D visuals, an improved bestiary, and updated story sequences.

Inner Realm: Mind Zero, a new role-playing game from Aksys Games, has launched online for PS Vita. The dungeon-crawling adventure follows Kei and his group of friends after they find themselves in a weapon shop whose resident undertaker offers them loot for bizarre weapons. As the group continues through the Inner Realm in search of more items for trade, they discover it’s connected to their own reality, known as the Outer Realm. Players will use beings known as Minds to explore their new world, battling alongside them as the group makes their way deeper into the Inner Realm.
