Odin Sphere Leifthrasir’s Mercedes is showcased in a new trailer and batch of screenshots. The Fairy Queen of Ringford, Mercedes is on a quest to avenge the death of her mother at the hands of Demon Lord Odin. Her position is fragile, however, as an ambitious cousin is also eying her throne. Fortunately, despite being a bit clumsy, she is an agile fighter who has allies to call upon during combat and is armed with Tasla, her mother’s Psypher crossbow.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness – Star Log #2, screens posted

Square Enix has released the second installment of the ongoing livestream series The Star Log for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. The latest stream focused on the battle system, which included a new battle system trailer and a message from producer Shuichi Kobayashi. Gameplay was also debuted that showcased combos, character swapping, and long-range attacks. A few pages have been released from 7th Dragon III: Code VFD’s art book. The book will be bundled for free with launch copies of Sega’s upcoming dungeon-crawling role-playing game. Bethesda has released the second downloadable add-on for Fallout 4, Wasteland Workshop. The $4.99 pack adds new settlement options, including letter kits, nixie tube lighting, and taxidermy. The drop also adds the ability to design and set cages that are capable of capturing both man and monster. Next up is Far Harbor, set to be released next month. Beyond that, Creation Kit, the tool suite that will bring PC mods to console, is planned for later in 2016.

Dark Souls III now available for PC, PS4, Xbox One

FromSoftware is back with a new teeth-gritting adventure for souls fans. Today marks the first of several sick days for many a people with the release of Dark Souls III. As the Champion of Ash, players must traverse the world of Lothric, avoiding its many traps and tackling the numerous enemies within, to unite the five Lords of Cinder to stave off the Age of Dark. Multiplayer also returns, allowing players to once again leave messages for fellow adventurers, summon or be summoned to lend a hand, and invade to pick a fight. Just be sure to grab your Estus Flask before heading out.

Crowdfunded PC RPG Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan dated

Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan, a Kickstarter-funded 2D action-RPG from Kiro’o Games, will be released on April 14. Plug In Digital has teamed up with the studio to launch the game on Steam. Aurion will take players through a 20-hour adventure inspired by the culture, myths, and lore of Africa—a fitting approach, given that Kiro’o is Central Africa’s first game studio–with combat said to be partially inspired by the Tales series. As the young prince Enzo, players find themselves exiled on the eve of both their coronation and wedding. Now Enzo, along with his new wife Erine, must fight to defeat the usurpers and take back the throne.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD launching July 12, character trailer released

Sega has announced that their upcoming 3DS RPG 7th Dragon III Code: VFD will be available in stores and eShop on July 12. Additionally, a new character-creation video has also gone live highlighting the dozens of voice options and physical customization options—96 in total—available for each of the party’s nine characters. Of course, the most important decision is the character’s class, and all eight were recently named: Agent, Banisher, Duelist, Fortuner, God Hand, Mage, Rune Knight, and Samurai.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir’s character roster is being given its time in the spotlight with a new look at the heir of Titania, Cornelius. Unfortunately for Cornelius, a curse has turned him into a Pooka in the form of a hare. His diminutive size doesn’t stop him from jumping into combat, though, as his increased agility allows him to quickly slice through enemies, attack off of walls, and unleash bolts of electricity with the Lightning Saber. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir’s updated crafting and cooking mechanics are highlighted in a new trailer and batch of screenshots. Potion-creation has now been expanded so that, in addition to mixing materials and items according to recipes, stocked potions can also be added to the mix. Recipes aren’t required, either, as players will be able to randomly mix items to find a match. Additional combinations are being added, too, and food will be able to be upgraded by mixing them with potions. New rest areas will also allow players to heal and buff their characters with meals cooked by Maury’s Touring Restaurant.
