Titanfall 2 multiplayer trial announced for console, PC

EA has announced a free multiplayer trial for Titanfall 2. Respawn’s recently released shooter allows players to once again take control and pilot a giant mech or battle on foot. Soon, everyone will get the chance to try out all of the multiplayer modes, as the demo period is set to kick off on November 30 for Origin Access members and on December 2 for everyone else. Progress made during the trial will carry over into the full game. Players who decide to purchase the game will be able to download all post-launch downloadable content, including maps and modes, for free.

Titanfall 2 now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One

EA has released Respawn’s latest action shooter Titanfall 2. The sequel adds a single-player campaign that sees Militia rifleman Jack Cooper linking up with a chatty Vanguard-class Titan, BT-7274. Cooper finds himself a newly christened pilot after a failed assault on the IMC planet of Typhon, leaving him and BT to finish the mission. Multiplayer returns with six new Titans, a casual and competitive in-game social hub called Networks, and daily Happy Hours that allow players to unlock items faster. On December 2, Respawn will begin their post-launch support with the release of a remastered map from Titanfall, Angel City, which will kick off a series of free downloadable packs that will add more maps, modes, and weapons.

Titanfall 2 launch trailer follows Cooper, BT-7274 going to war

Titanfall 2 is set to hit digital outlets and retail stores this Friday, and Respawn has prepped a launch trailer. The live-action video, Become One, features pilot Jack Cooper and BT-7274 hanging out in the desert—just on an another human-and-bot trip, naturally—as their previous explosive exploits punctuate their journey. Cooper, BT meet in new Titanfall 2 single-player gameplay trailer

Respawn has released a new single-player trailer for Titanfall 2. The footage follows the new protagonist, militia rifleman Jack Cooper, as he meets and sets up to pilot the Vanguard class Titan BT-7274. It’s a little under two minutes long, and offers a quick recap of how Cooper gets assigned to BT as well as their mission to stop the IMC. BT also shows a bit of personality, and has a voice that sounds like the buttery vocals of Peter ‘Optimus Prime’ Cullen.

Get up to speed with the new Titanfall 2 story trailer

Respawn has released a single-player cinematic trailer for Titanfall 2. The video introduces players to 3rd Class Rifleman Jack Cooper and his mech, Titan BT-7274. BT-7274 was the first Titan built by the Militia to fight the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation, while Cooper is attempting to become a pilot. Titanfall 2 – Inside Development video, blog series covers servers

Respawn has released the second installment of their development series for Titanfall 2. The latest entry features lead engineer Jon “Slothy” Shiring covering the studio’s server plans for the impending multiplayer technical test. Rented servers, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure will all be used to handle the load; full details can be found below and at their blog. Additionally, tomorrow, beginning at 2:30 p.m., Shiring will be answering community server-related questions on Twitter through the hashtag #TF2ServerQA.

Titanfall 2 teaser released ahead of full gameplay reveal this June

EA has released a teaser for Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2. The wall-running, mech-piloting shooter will have a full reveal later this summer, but for now, players will have to make do with the briefest of glimpses at what’s in store. Not much is shown in the snippet, with a tropical location hosting a drop pod and a mech with a sword. Gameplay will be debuted at EA Play on June 12.

Titanfall Deluxe Edition launches for PC, next week for Xbox One

EA has released a deluxe edition of Respawn’s latest shooter Titanfall. The new bundle includes the original game plus all three downloadable packs. The drops—Expedition, Frontier’s Edge, and IMC Rising—bolster the original’s roster of 15 maps with nine new additions. Deluxe Edition is out today for PC for $39.99 and will launch digitally on November 25 for Xbox One for $49.99.
