Alan Wake – PC version to get retail release
Remedy Games’ excellent psychological action thriller Alan Wake will be hitting store shelves for the PC, courtesy of Nordic Games. The boxed edition will include both of the DLC releases currently available on Live Marketplace for the 360 version, The Signal and The Writer. Although a release date and price weren’t announced, Noridc noted that they will be passing along the official word shortly.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare gets Fight till Dawn mode
Remedy’s Alan Wake Live-exclusive spinoff, American Nightmare, will include a new arcade mode dubbed Fight till Dawn. The studio announced that the new mode will pit Wake against waves of enemies as he attempts to survive the night by tracking down safe havens and weapons to stave off chainsaw- and axe-wielding maniacs. Leaderboard support was also announced, allowing gamers to compare their survival efforts against fellow embattled novelists.

Wake heads into the darkness once more with American Nightmare
Remedy is returning to the world of Wake next year with Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for Xbox Live Arcade. The standalone spin-off will pit Wake against his evil double, Mr. Scratch, as the latter sets his sites on Wake’s wife, the ever-imperiled Alice.

Death Rally to receive new features, challenge, and fixes shortly
Death Rally, the new handheld rerelease of Remedy’s DOS-based car combat racer, is set to receive an update shortly that will include general improvements, bug fixes, as well a new challenge and features. The full list can be found below, but fans wanting left-handed controls, new paint jobs, and a challenge that includes shotguns, snipers and strikers should be on the lookout for the update.
