Turn 10 will be releasing seven new rides for Forza Motorsport 6 tomorrow with the Alpinestars Car Pack. The $6.99 set will include the prototype 2015 Ford #02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley Mk XXVI Daytona, which will be at this weekend’s race, as well as the 1990 Mercury #15 Whistler Radar Cougar XR-7, 2005 Pontiac Aztek, 1992 Alfa Romeo Milano Quadrifoglio Verde, 1967 Sunbeam Tiger, 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5, and 1996 Subaru SVX. A new contest is also beginning tomorrow, with special Rivals mode that features the Ford Daytona Prototype on the Daytona Sports Car Circuit. Winners will receive Alpinestars-branded apparel. Sega will be bringing the 3DS compilation Sega 3D Classics Collection to North America. Scheduled to launch digitally and physically on April 26, the bundle will include nine games ported over to the system by the current retro-updating standard-bearers M2. The games will include titles from both the Genesis and Master System: Power Drift, Puyo Puyo 2, Maze Walker, Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa, Fantasy Zone II W, Sonic The Hedgehog, Thunder Blade, Galaxy Force II, and Altered Beast. Microsoft announced some new stats for Windows 10 and Xbox One. On the PC front, Windows 10 is said to be active on over 200 million devices worldwide, with over 40 percent of new Windows 10 devices being activated since Black Friday. Over 11 billion hours have been spent using the new OS. In gaming, the heavy hitters of MS’ holiday lineup—Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Halo 5, and Rise of the Tomb Raider—have each sold over a million units. Over 350 games were made playable throughout the year, and Xbox users have accumulated over 4 billion achievements and 77 billion in Gamerscore. Backwards compatibility is also proving to be popular, with players logging over 15 million hours in the 100-plus titles that are now playable.
Forza Motorsport 6 received a new set of rides today with the launch of Mobil 1 Car Pack. The seven-car add-on features the Koenigsegg One:1, 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé, 1988 Holden VL Commodore Group A SV, 1990 Chevrolet #30 Douglas Shierson Racing Lola T90/00, 1963 Ferrari 250LM, 1991 Mazda #62 Mazda Motorsport RX-7, and 1958 Plymouth Fury. The pack is available for $6.99.
Bethesda and Turn 10 Studios have teamed up to release two Fallout 4-themed cars for Forza Motorsport 6. The first is out today, a Vault-Tec-themed 1956 Ford F100, and will be sent to everyone’s garage. Coming soon is a themed Chryslus Rocket 69 coupe.

The $6.99 download will add seven vehicles: the 1988 McLaren #12 Honda McLaren MP4/4, 1980 Lancia #31 Lancia Corse Beta Montecarlo Turbo, 2014 Maserati #35 M.Calamia Swiss Team MC Trofeo, 1977 Holden Torana A9X, 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster, 2014 Mazda #70 SpeedSource Lola B12/80, and the 2000 Plymouth Prowler.
Turn 10 has released its first post-launch car pack for Forza Motorsport 6, the Logitech G Car Pack. The $7 set adds seven cars to the player’s garage: the 2013 Caparo T1, 1939 Mercedes-Benz W154, 1967 Honda RA300, 1967 Volvo 123GT, 2013 Cadillac XTS Limousine, 1994 Nissan #75 Cunningham Racing 300ZX, and the 2014 Toyota #12 Rebellion Racing R-One.
Forza Motorsport 6 is a few weeks away, and Turn 10 is building up to the release with a new trailer, a newly launched demo, and details about the upcoming Fast & Furious car pack. Beginning today, players can download the demo from Xbox Live, which will offer a selection of the final versions 460 cars and 26 tracks along with a sampling of night races, Rival events, and refined Drivatar opponents. The demo also adds a free ride to the game’s garage, the Ford GT, as well as allows access to the Forza Fuel Challenge. The fastest drivers from the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, and the U.K. will win an all-expense paid trip to the Circuit of Americas in Texas for the final Forza challenge. Lastly, the 10-vehicle list of the Fast & Furious Car Pack, free to Ultimate Edition and Deluxe Edition owners, was released and is available below.
Turn 10 has announced that Forza Motorsport 6 has gone gold. The game is set to go live in two weeks for Ultimate Edition owners, and five days later for everyone else. An official demo is slated to hit Live even earlier, on September 1. Gamers who do grab the demo will find a free ride in their digital garage, the new Ford GT. The remaining 460 release cars were revealed today along with a few new screenshots, posted below, while the full list can be found here.
