A free car pack will be available at launch for Forza Horizon 2. The Launch Bonus Car Pack will feature eight cars, listed below, three of which will be making their series debut: the 1993 Clio Williams, 2003 Ford Focus RS, and 1997 Land Rover Defender 90. For the more dedicated fans out there, the Forza Horizon 2 VIP program was also detailed. The $19.99 club ($9.99 for Forza 5 VIP members) allows access to the five-cart VIP Car Pack, four of which are new to the franchise, exclusive multiplayer events, and discounts. Turn 10 launches Forza Rewards program for free cars, in-game cash

Turn 10 has announced a set of rewards for fans of Forza, including free cars for Forza Horizon 2, through the new Forza Rewards program. Gamers have the chance to unlock up to five non-DLC rides, listed below, before they boot up the game by completing certain challenges in Forza 2 through 5, with the examples given being the number of cars owned and miles driven in Forza 5. Rewards, which also includes other cars and in-game credits, are based on a tier system, and any earned items are awarded at the beginning of the month based on which of the five tiers the player reached during the preceding month. Horizon 2 players will receive a gift car (or cars) through the program, with the reward based on the tier reached by launch.

The remaining rides of Forza Horizon 2’s launch roster have been revealed. The full list can be found here, and the latest additions below, which include the 2015 Ford Mustang GT, 1997 Land Rover Defender 90, 1987 Ferrari F40, 2009 Lotus 2-Eleven, and 2004 Maserati MC12. Gamers looking forward to the Horizon series’ next-gen debut will be able to take a few laps early when the demo launches next week, September 16, on Live.

Xbox One to get Forza Horizon 2 demo on September 16

Forza fans will get their chance to try the upcoming Forza Horizon 2 in a few weeks. Microsoft has announced that a demo for the open-word racer will launch on Live for Xbox One on September 16. The Playground Games-developed entry has been making the rounds recently, at E3, Gamescom, and soon at PAX, but this will be the first time gamers will get the chance to whip around southern Europe in the comfort of their homes. A new letter from Turn 10 Studios’ community manager, Brian Ekberg, has revealed that the developer plans on adding two more monthly car packs to the Car Pass. The additions will bring the total packs for the pass up to eight and are scheduled for release in June and July. The June pack will go live next Friday, May 30. RedLynx’s follow-up to Trials Evolution, Trials Fusion, is out today for 360, PS4, and Xbox One. A download version is available for $19.99 for all systems, and a physical version, which includes a Season Pass and bonus in-game items, is available for $39.99 for PS4 and Xbox One. Fusion features the same trick- and physics-based gameplay as its predecessors, a track editor with the ability for users to share their creations, online play, and the new FMX tricks system.

Trials Fusion beta access pre-order program announced for PC

PC gamers who pre-order RedLynx’s upcoming obstacle racer Trials Fusion will be able to play a closed beta ahead of its April 24 release. The beta is set to kick off on March 21, and the promotion is open to several retailers, including Amazon, GameStop, and Uplay. Fusion is a sequel to Trials Evolution, and features the series’ traditional physics-based gameplay as well as multiplayer with support for global tournaments, a track editor with online sharing capabilities, and a new FMX tricks system.

Ten new cars will be added to Forza 5’s roster next Tuesday, according to MS and Turn 10 Studios. The latest downloadable drop, the Smoking Tire Car Pack, will run $10 and count among its roster the 2000 BMW Z8, the 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, the 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo, and the 2011 Ferrari FF. Additional details on all of the new rides can be found below. The cars can be purchased as a set or individually using either tokens or in-game credits.
