Child of Eden, the “multisensory shooter” from Q Entertainment and Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, is now available for the PS3. The motion-control shooter supports both the PS Move and stereoscopic 3D, but it can also be played with a standard dualshock controller. An extra feature for the PS3 version also allows for multiple controllers to be hooked up for additional sensory effects.
Q Entertainment’s surreal rhythm-based shooter Child of Eden is headed to the PlayStation 3. The Tetsuya Mizuguchi-created, Ubisoft-published release will hit store shelves on September 27 and sport 3D support as well as PS Move functionality. As players fight to save Project Lumi in order to reproduce all of man’s memories inside Eden, they will experience a “multisensory effect: A visionary entertainment experience that synchronizes stunning graphics and innovative sound design to electrify the senses.”
Q? Entertainment’s Kinect-enabled shooter Child of Eden has hit store shelves. The Ubisoft-published release has players attempting to fend off an unknown virus from infecting Eden, “a futuristic world with an amazing mix of psychedelic visuals and vibrant sounds.” For gamers who haven’t gone the motion-controller route, the standard controller is also supported. Directed by Rez creator and producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, fans of (surreal) shooters can pick Child of Eden up for $49.99.
