Square Enix has given an expanded look at Nier: Automata. The trailer, titled Glory to Mankind 119450310, finds players in the year 11945 during the 14th Machine War. A squad of androids battle machine lifeforms over a post-apocalyptic landscape in order to secure the world for the remaining humans. Players can try their hand at the game with the recently released PS4 demo on PSN.
Sega has released a new trailer for Puyo Puyo Tetris to announce its official release date. Puzzle fans will be able to grab the crossover title on April 25. The game will feature a single-player Adventure mode that includes characters from both Puyo Puyo and Tetris, and Solo Arcade mode against CPU opponents. Multiplayer will also be supported with Big Bang, Fusion, Party, Swap, and Versus. Get a better look at the modes below in a handful of new screenshots along with the trailer.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s debut free update for Year 2, Operation Velvet Shell, is set to go live tomorrow for Season Pass holders. Non-holders can download it on February 14. Console and PC players will be able to access a new map, Coastline, located on the seashore of Ibiza, as two new Spanish operators from the Grupo Especial de Operaciones: Mira and Jackal. Mira is armed with the Vector 45 ACP and ITA12L and specializes in ballistics protection, allowing her to detect weak spots on machinery to reinforce it. Jackal can quickly spot irregularities and totes a C7E and a PDW9.
Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours’ next downloadable set will feature ships from Capcom titles. Scheduled to launch February 16, the fifth wave will include drops for three games: Progear, Side Arms Hyper Dyne, and Varth: Operation Thunderstorm. As with the previous packs, each will have a ship, new stages, and music, with original tracks remixed by Yasuhisa Watanabe, Hiroyuki Iwatsuki, and Daisuke Matsumoto. Details can be found below. In regards to the physical version, it is now set to be published in March and will be exclusive to Limited Run Games. A $59.99 standard edition will come with the Darius Odyssey digital art book with Japanese text. A $99.99 limited edition will come bundled with the digital art book, ‘Original Arrange Album 2’ CD (Cave and 8ing DLC arrangements), and two Silver Hawk Burst figures in a package sporting art commissioned from Kanetaka Ebikawa.
Titanfall 2 players can get a look at the upcoming Live Fire mode in a new trailer. The footage debuts the speedy, close-combat-centric six-versus-six Pilot mode. It will be bundled along with two new maps, Stacks and Meadow, as a free download.
Following yesterday’s launch trailer reveal, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Sabotage has been released for PS4. Sabotage adds four new multiplayer maps, one of which is a remake of Modern Warfare 2’s Afghan, along with a ‘90s-themed Zombies episode. The latter will find players stuck at an abandoned lakeside summer camp in Rave in the Redwoods. Details for the new maps can be found below.
Digimon World: Next Order is bringing a new adventure with over 200 recruitable and trainable Digimon to PS4 today. Available digitally and physically, the latest entry in the Digimon franchise, developed by B.B. Studio, puts players in the shoes of Takuto or Shiki as they attempt to stop the Machinedramons from causing mayhem in the Digital World. In addition to leading their Digimon in combat, players will also form bonds with other characters they meet throughout their travels.
Bethesda is set to add the island of Vvardenfell to The Elder Scrolls Online with the Morrowind expansion. Slated to go live on June 6, the add-on will feature several additions, including Vvardenfell, which is said to be the largest zone yet added and feature the same points of interest from Elder Scrolls III. The story is set 700 years prior to the game, however, with players fighting to save the famous warrior-poet and Guardian of Vvardenfell, Vivec. Players can also access the nature-magic-based Warden, who fights alongside a War Bear, the first new class since launch. Other additions include a new Trial and PvP mode for three four-player teams. New players can head straight to the content without any experience, while returning players will content appropriate for whatever level they might be at the time of their arrival to the island.
Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s upcoming downloadable pack, Sabotage. As a heads up, the drop debuts tomorrow on PSN for PS4. Players will gain access to four maps, Neon, Noir, Renaissance, and a remake of the Modern Warfare 2 map Afghan, Dominion. Zombies is also receiving a ‘90s-themed addition, Rave in the Redwoods, with director Willard Wyler recasting the original crew in new roles.
