Project Diva X is making its debut today with a new demo for PS4 and PS Vita. The trial includes three songs: LOL -lots of laugh-, Raspberry * Monster, and Satisfaction. The tunes can be played on two difficulty levels, Easy and Normal, and will unlock costume modules. An extra mode, Event Request, allows players to create a set out of the available tracks. In addition, over 23 free and for-pay cross-buy DLC packs were announced, including a Persona 4: Dancing All Night costume module and a concert editor.

Hatsune Miku is back on stage in a new trailer for Project Diva X. As light begins to fade on her world, players must lend her a hand in restoring the light by assisting her through the five clouds: classic, cool, cute, elegant, and quirky. She and her friends will have access to close to 300 modules and accessories to sport as they sing, dance, and keep pace to 30 new and rearranged old Miku tracks. The footage features the crew getting down to a few of the tunes. A demo is scheduled to go live on August 9 for both PS4 and PS Vita.

Yomawari: Night Alone site update, trailer highlights world, ghosts

A new trailer has been released for Yomawari: Night Alone. The footage shows a little of the haunted town that players will explore as well as some of its ghostly inhabitants. Its release coincides with an update to the official site that offers additional insight into the various spirits and monsters that roam the land. NIS has released a new trailer for the upcoming game adaptation of Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness. The video introduces the anime’s dystopian world, which players will get an additional look at whenever they purchase the game, as all versions will come with the first two episodes (subtitled) of the first season through PSN. A handful of translated images have also been released, offering a first look at the game in English.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is returning later this summer as Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs. Scheduled to launch on September 20, the mixed release will be available digitally and physically for PS4, and digitally for PS3 and PS Vita. The hybrid role-playing game set within a visual novel will once again task players with driving evil spirits out of the city as a ghost hunter. The new version will feature an expanded storyline with additional characters and extra chapters that are estimated to push the play time past the 30-hour mark.

The 8-bit-styled role-playing game The Longest Five Minutes is coming to North America for PC and PS Vita. Co-developed by NIS and Syupro-Dx, the adventure finds players inside the mind of a hero who is fighting his last battle with the nefarious Overlord. As he talks with his party and nemesis, the conversations will unlock memories of the hero’s quest that players will need to re-live, which will affect the party’s state when it comes time for the final showdown.

A.W.: Phoenix Festa, a “simulation action” visual novel title, has gone live on PSN for PS Vita. Set in a world devastated by an apocalyptic event, the Invertia, six academies compete for prominence in the last remaining megacity, Asterisk. Players take on the role of a student, either Ayato or an original character, who must live out the days of a teenager while practicing for the upcoming competition. On their way to one of several endings, players will build relationships and train in combat. The game is based on the Japanese light novel The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water.

Aksys has released Spike Chunsoft’s roguelike Shiren The Wanderer: Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate for PS Vita. In the new adventure, Shiren sets out to tackle the ever-changing Tower of Fortune to challenge the god of Destiny, Reeva. The Eternal Wanderer Edition, an Aksys Store and Video Game Plus exclusive, is also available. The premium set comes with a 64-page 20th Anniversary art book covering the Shiren series, a 10-song soundtrack CD, and a Zero Escape-themed Deluxe Nonary Bracelet inside a Nonary Display Box. The former can be found in the game, while the latter features art from the tower.

World of Final Fantasy trailer released, three limited editions detailed

Players will be able to explore Grymoire in a variety of releases for World of Final Fantasy, including a Day One Edition, Limited Edition, and Collector’s Edition. The Day One Edition will include extra digital content, such as a Sephiroth summon and a Japanese voice-over option add-on, while the similarly priced Limited Edition will add special packaging along with a 24-page artbook. The Square Enix-store-exclusive Collector’s Edition is priced at $119.99 and adds even more goodies, including the soundtrack, a three-piece minifigurine set (Cloud, Lightning, and Squall), a pop-up book, and more.
