Grand Kingdom to hit stores, digital outlets in June for PS4, PS Vita

NIS has sent word that their upcoming tactical role-playing game Grand Kingdom will be launching on June 21. Players will be able to lead their mercenary squad on either the PS4 or PS Vita, but it was also revealed today that PS4 owners will be able to do so in style with a launch edition and a limited edition. The launch edition will include a 32-page art book, soundtrack in a cardboard sleeve, and a collector’s box. The limited edition will beef things up a bit with an 128-page art book, soundtrack in a jewel case, poster, decal sticker sheet, and larger collector’s box. Bandai Namco has released Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth for PS4 and PS Vita. After strange portals open on Earth, the digital realm begins to merge with the real world. During the process, dangerous Digimon cross over on a mission to destroy our world. To stop them, players become cyber detectives to investigate and close the rifts. Over 200 Digimon can be raise, trained, and evolved, with players taking on the AI as well as each other online in turn-based combat.

Stranger of Sword City delayed, gets new in-game art option, trailer

The upcoming dungeon-crawler will also feature a new art option, offering players the choice of two art styles for their in-game graphics. In addition, a new trailer, posted below, was released highlighting some of the characters that the player will meet as they defend the land of Escario.

Atlus has revealed the art print that will be included with the Storybook Edition of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. The print will feature Alice along with her cat Socrates and measure 7.25”x10”. The remaining goodies will include a 64-page hardcover art book, a ‘potion recipe’ T-shirt, and an outer box to store everything. The Storybook version is limited to PS4.

NIS bringing Spike Chunsoft tactical-RPG Grand Kingdom stateside

NIS America is once again teaming up with developer Spike Chunsoft. This time around, the duo will be releasing a new tactical role-playing game for PS4 and PS Vita, Grand Kingdom. Slated for release this summer, Grand Kingdom will put players in the boots of a mercenary commander who must guide their troop to glory while four great nations battle it out for control of Resonail. In addition to a single-player campaign, online play will also be supported. An announcement trailer and batch of Japanese screenshots have been posted below.

Dariusburst: Chronicle Saviours getting Taitor shooter tie-in DLC

Degica has detailed their DLC plans for Dariusburst: Chronicle Saviours. On January 14, the PC version will receive the Darius Odyssey art book, previously exclusive to PS4, for $14.99 and as part of a combo with the base game for $59.99. Also set to be available on the same day for all versions are three themed packs based on Taito titles: Night Striker, Metal Black, and RayForce. Each pack will come with a new ship and remixed music from the associated title as well as unique levels. Note that the DLC ships are only usable in downloadable levels, though the base game ships are transferable to the new stages, and that the new levels are playable in CS mode with 16:9 aspect ratio.
