Mind the tunnels, Metro: Last Light goes gold for consoles and PC
Post-apocalyptic first-person shooter Metro: Last Light, sequel to 2010’s Metro 2033, has gone gold for 360, PC, and PS3. Publisher Deep Silver has announced that the final version will be hitting store shelves on May 14. Gamers who pre-order before then will received a bump up to a limited edition that includes the Ranger Mode DLC, which ramps up the difficultly by removing the HUD, adding tougher enemies, and limiting the player’s resources. It’s not all bad news: the Russian AKSU rifle and 100 military-grade rounds will be added to the starting loadout.

Saints Row IV pre-order Commander in Chief Edition announced
Deep Silver will be upgrading all pre-orders of Saints Row IV to the Commander in Chief Edition. The next entry in the series will put players in the shoes of the President of the United States during an alien invasion, and the bonuses will help even the odds. The upgrade includes the Screaming Eagle, a weapon that fires rockets and stuns enemies with a Sonic Scream attack, an Uncle Sam uniform, and the all-purpose, American Army Knife-styled ‘Merica weapon.

Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut goes gold, pre-order extras a go
Rising Star Games has announced that Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut has gone gold for PS3. Two pre-order extras were also revealed, with GameStop offering an Espresso Suit and Amazon a Field Ops suit. The enhanced re-release features new scenario, improved visuals and controls, and support for upcoming downloadable content.

Deadpool pre-order bonuses announced, new screens released
Deadpool loves two things: killing people for money, and added value. That might explain why—well, the last bit anyway—Activision has announced a slew of pre-order bonuses for High Moon Studios’ Deadpool. The upcoming action title based on Marvel’s mouthy merc will hit store shelves this June, but before then, gamers can get a handful of extras from Amazon and EBGames/GameStop. The bonuses, detailed below in Deadpool-speak, include desktop wallpapers, a map pack, and credit towards the purchase of select Marvel graphic novels.

Shin Megami Tensei IV Special Edition box set announced, detailed
Atlus has revealed a limited edition box set for Shin Megami Tensei IV. The pack, detailed below, will include a strategy and design book from Prima Games, a Music Collection CD, and a slipcase. The premium pack is the same price as the standard edition but will be limited to the first print run.

GOG.com begins Divinity: Dragon Commander pre-order, hosts Q&A
GOG.com has kicked off pre-orders for Larian’s upcoming strategy-RPG Divinity: Dragon Commander. As an incentive, GOG is knocking off $5 for gamers who pre-order, lowering the price to $39.99. For those wanting to learn a bit more—and who doesn’t, given there are dragons with jetpacks—the crew at GOG held a Q&A with Larian. The nearly hour-long discussion (!) covers the studio’s influences, the game’s backstory, unit upgrades, and how the council of advisors will function. Muramasa Rebirth limited edition, pre-order soundtrack announced
A limited edition version of Muramasa Rebirth, the upcoming re-release for PS Vita, has been announced, the—deep breath—Muramasa Rebirth Blessing of Amitabha Collector’s Edition. Lost Planet 3 launching this summer for consoles and PC
June might be face-melting hot, but Capcom is determined to give you a reason to throw on that super deluxe parka. The studio announced today that they will be bringing Lost Planet 3′s subzero action to gamers this summer when it launches for 360, PC, and PS3 on June 25. A new trailer was also released, revealing that Jim Peyton and his NEVEC coworkers aren’t the only humans on E.D.N. III. There are also … snow pirates. Did not see that one coming.

Deep Silver announces free pre-order DLC for Dead Island Riptide
