Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is returning later this summer as Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs. Scheduled to launch on September 20, the mixed release will be available digitally and physically for PS4, and digitally for PS3 and PS Vita. The hybrid role-playing game set within a visual novel will once again task players with driving evil spirits out of the city as a ghost hunter. The new version will feature an expanded storyline with additional characters and extra chapters that are estimated to push the play time past the 30-hour mark.
Bethesda has announced that the first round of pre-registration for QuakeCon will begin today at 7 p.m. CST. This first round, BYOC Select-a-Seat with QuakeCon done Quick, is $175 and limited to 250 packages. The full details of what’s included, as well as information on upcoming packages, is available below. Some of the first set’s perks include a guaranteed seat of the attendee’s choice in the BYOC area, limited reserve access for all panels and events, and a limited edition signed and numbered print.
Max Payne has officially returned with the release of Max Payne 3 for the 360 and PS3. Now a down-and-out bodyguard for the rich in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Payne must bring out his inner noire Denzel in a Man on Fire-style paynefest (ha!) on some mysterious kidnappers.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine’s free co-op mode Exterminatus is now available to download for the PC and PS3. Xbox gamers will be able to download it “soon.” Exterminatus will be accessible through the main menu and allow teams of four to squad up as a Space Marine Tactical Marine, Devastator, or Assault Marine. Players will be able to kit out their marine with a customized weapon and perk loadout as they take them through the two dynamic-challenge-filled scenarios, Assault on Hab Center Andreas and Escape From Kalkys Facility.
