Chie gets down with her bad meat-eating, kung-fu self in the latest gameplay trailer for Persona 4: Dancing All Night. As a fun tie-in, today is Chie’s birthday in Persona lore, so Atlus is giving her some time in the spotlight. And as is only appropriate, she’s dancing to Carl Douglas’ classic ode to kung fu. To add to the festivities, a second video was released for Backside of the TV (Lotus Juice remix).

Persona 4: Dancing All Night launching Sept. 29, new media released

Persona 4: Dancing All Night has been officially dated for September 29. Two new additions were also announced for the rhythm-based spin-off, Kanami Mashita and Teddie. Mashita is the protégé of Rise as well as the leader of a new pop group, Kanamin Kitchen. Teddie returns in his regular form as well as his crazy General form from the Arena fighter series. Eight new screens and two new character trailers have also been posted to get a look at the two in action, and so you can get down with authority (with a weird person-bear-thing).

Persona 4: Dancing All Night coming this fall, limited editions revealed

Atlus has announced that the story-based rhythm spin-off Persona 4: Dancing All Night will hit stores and PSN this fall. As with their other titles, early adopters will get some extras for their pre-order purchase with a Launch Edition, while collectors can grab the Disco Fever Edition. The Launch Edition will run $49.99 and come with an exclusive system skin, designed to fit the latest model, and 10 wallpapers. The Disco Fever Edition will cost $79.99 and include the system skin as well as a two-disc soundtrack, a themed system pouch, two sets of for-pay costume DLC, a golden Teddie keychain, and a collectible box to hold everything. Atlus releases new screenshots from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Atlus has released some new screens from their upcoming fighter Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. The Arc System Works-developed follow-up to 2012’s Persona 4 Arena will be released this fall, and it was also announced that the game will retail for $59.99. As with its predecessor, players will be able to control characters from Persona 3 and 4 through a storyline that ties the crews together as they search for the creator of the P-1 Climax tournament. A few new combatants will be joining the investigation, including Junpei, Rise, and Yukari.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax coming to 360, PS3 this fall

Atlus and Arc System Works are bringing the follow-up to their fighter Persona 4 Arena to 360 and PS3 later this year. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax takes place a few days after the events of the original and features the return of the Investigation Team from Persona 4 and SEES from Persona 3. The two groups head back to Inaba after a red fog appears, and they find themselves drawn back to the tournament after the Midnight Channel shows Mitsuru, Akihiko, Fuuka, and Aigis imprisoned. Ultimax will add one-hit special attacks and three new characters. Two of the new brawlers will be from Persona 3, Takeba and Junpei Iori, while the third will be a brand-new Persona-wielder by the name of Sho Minazuki.

Up until today, Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden have all been available to download, and now fans of the series can complete the set for $9.99. Eternal Punishment is the companion follow-up to Innocent Sin, set after its predecessor in a parallel world featuring the same characters and events but otherwise unrelated.
