PC gaming goodfellas will find a new content and performance update waiting for them today when they boot up Omerta – City of Gangsters. The free download, detailed below, includes multiplayer chat, bug fixes, the new Iron Mad difficulty setting, an economy overview panel, new multiplayer maps, and a host of additions for sandbox mode. A release date for the Xbox 360 version has not been announced.
Two new announcements today about Haemimont and Kalypso’s Prohibition-era strategy title Omerta. First up, a new single-player demo has launched on Live Marketplace for the 360. The demo includes two levels, which give players the chance to try some of the game’s turn-based combat as well as the opportunity to plan a heist. A new update has also been announced for both the 360 and PC versions.
It’s time to run some liquor and shoot up some joints, Omerta – City of Gangsters is now available in stores for 360 and PC. Opportunity awaits in Prohibition-era Atlantic City, and as a newly arrived immigrant wanting the finer things in life, players will stake their claim to everything their new home has to offer. Starting off as a small-time hoodlum, players must work their way up the criminal underworld by taking on assignments to earn cash, gain influence, and push out rivals.
If Boardwalk Empire has you itching to be a gangster in Prohibition-era Atlantic City, then Kalypso might have just the thing for you. The publisher has announced that Haemimont Games’ latest strategy title, Omerta – City of Gangsters, has gone gold and will launch for 360 and PC on February 12. Players will start off as a smalltime crook, but through recruiting a gang of their own, raiding their rivals’ territories, robbing banks, and battling it out in turn-based combat, they will climb the ranks and become a mob boss with their own syndicate.
Kalypso’s upcoming crime-empire-building sim Omerta – City of Gangsters has been announced for the 360. The console release will join a previously announced PC version when it launches this autumn. Developed by Haemimont Games, creators of Tropico, Omerta will send players back in time to the 1920s and put them in the shoes of an ambitious, newly arrived immigrant who gets his start as a small-time crook in Atlantic City.
