Bethesda has detailed the next three DLC releases for Obsidian’s Fallout: New Vegas. Role-players looking to jump back into the wastelands should be on the lookout this summer for Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road. All three packs will be 800 MS Points/$9.99 and released simultaneously for the 360, PC, and PS3.
A nice little preorder bonus from Valve and Square Enix was announced earlier, with all pre-purchase orders for Dungeon Siege III through Steam receiving immediate access to free copies of Dungeon Siege I and II. It was also announced that the PC version will use Steamworks, which will take advantage of the platform’s many services: auto-updating, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud support, downloadable content, and more.
Dead Money, the first DLC pack for Fallout: New Vegas, has launched for the PC and PS3. Your ticket back to the wastes runs $9.99, and is currently available for download off the PS Network as well as Steam and other online distributors.
A promotional Fallout website featuring a “demade” version of the game for New Vegas’s Japanese release was spotted at ShackNews. The Flash-based site sports a retro look and sends readers on an 8-bit – well, touching a bit higher, but you get the idea – journey through the world of Fallout. It’s not terribly involved, but it’s a fun promotion nonetheless.
