Bethesda releases seven soundtracks on iTunes
Bethesda has released seven soundtracks from their lineup of role-playing games, shooters, and everything in between on iTunes. Fans can now purchase the soundtracks for Dishonored, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Rage, and the last three Elder Scrolls titles, Morrowind, Skyrim, and Oblivion. Perfect for those days when you want your commute to feel a bit more like the journey into a post-apocalyptic, mutant-filled wasteland that you wish it was.

inXile to enlist Obsidian if Wasteland 2 drive surpasses $2.1 million
Role-playing fans still on the fence about chipping in towards the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter campaign might find themselves reaching for their wallets after the latest bit of news from inXile. According to the studio, if the campaign reaches $2,100,000, then Chris Avellone, chief creative officer of Obsidian Entertainment, will work directly with the design team. In addition, Obsidian as a company will also chip in by providing expertise and development tools.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition launches for 360, PC, PS3
Obsidian’s numerous contributions to the Fallout franchise have been collected into one compilation with the release of Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition. South Park: The Game finds sweet loot, new batch of screenshots
THQ has released some new shots from the upcoming South Park role-playing game from Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian, South Park: The Game. Scheduled to ship later this year, the latest out of the Matt Stone- and Trey Parker-helmed series will see the kids adventuring about the town, battling nefarious red-haired foes and hippies protected by the ancient and powerful amalgam of colors known as “tie-dye.”

Fallout: New Vegas – All Roads now available from Dark Horse Digital
All Roads, the 48-page graphic novel released with the collector’s edition of Fallout: New Vegas, is now available from Dark Horse Digital. The prequel, written by the game’s creative director Chris Avellone, details the events leading up to the violent beginning of New Vegas.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition goes all in for 360, PC, and PS3
If you’ve been patiently waiting for the complete New Vegas experience, your patience is about to pay off. Bethesda has announced that Obsidian’s entire New Vegas run will be available as one complete package early next year. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available on February 7 and include all DLC released to date: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.

Fallout: New Vegas’ fourth DLC pack, Lonesome Road, is now available on Live, PSN, and Steam. The 800 MS Point/$9.99 adventure will introduce players to Courier Six, the mysterious “Ulysses” referenced in New Vegas.

Dungeon Siege III – Treasures of the Sun DLC pack announced
Dungeon Siege III will be receiving a significant expansion this October with the Treasures of the Sun DLC pack. Treasures of the Sun adds a new plot arc, quests, abilities, enemies, loot, and location, the Aranoi Desert. Players will be able to respec their characters by reallocating Talent and Proficiency points, as well as take their adventurer beyond the previous level cap of 30 and up to 35. An enchanting system is also being added, in the form of transmuted items possibly turning into vials which can then be used to enhance other weapons and armor.

Fallout: New Vegas – Lonesome Road DLC, more packs announced
The New Vegas adventures continue next month when fourth DLC pack, the Lonesome Road, hits Live Marketplace and PSN on September 20. The 800 MS Point/$9.99 release will introduce players to Courier Six, the Ulysses referenced in New Vegas. Promising to reveal why he passed up the delivery assignment that kicks off the game, the player must venture into the Divide.
