NIS America’s latest role-playing game Mugen Souls has shipped to retail for PS3. The Compile Heart-developed adventure features a journey spanning seven worlds, filled with turn-based combat set on free-roaming battle maps, and with an emphasis on character customization. Enemies can be killed with linked attacks or subdued with Moe Kill to serve as peons, while your allies can assigned to take up arms as one of several job classes.

NIS America has announced that their upcoming role-playing game Mugen Souls will now be available on October 16. The delay, due to “schedule adjustments,” means gamers will have to wait a little longer before jumping into Compile Heart’s latest adventure, which features a focus on character customization, seven worlds to explore, free-roaming battle maps, and turn-based combat.

Legasista brings the deadly Ivy Tower (of doooom) to PSN

A new dungeon-crawler has hit PSN today, courtesy of NIS America. The System Prism-developed Legasista tasks players with tackling the Ivy Tower and its harrowing dungeons with a three-character party of quirky adventurers. But there are more chances to get some sweet loot, as protagonist Alto and company can also run through random dungeons to kit themselves, and even custom-created characters modeled after imported images off the PS3, in swankier gear.

ClaDun x2 ventures to PC, ends up in the mysterious land of Steam

NIS America’s quirky dungeon-crawler features randomly generated maps and an emphasis on customization, with players able to tweak their character’s appearance, weapons, and background music. A demo is also available, for those curious about the kinds of dangers Arcanus Cella has in store.

Some more shots from NIS today, and these are from the English version of their upcoming PS3 dungeon-crawler Legasista. The PlayStation Network exclusive will allow players to create and customize a three-character party, tweaking everything from appearance to gear, personality, and job classes, to take through the randomly generated dungeons that comprise the Ivy Tower. Characters can even be created from imported images that have been saved on the system.
