Former NIS America staff form new publisher, acttil
Three NIS America alumni have formed a new publishing company, acttil. The studio, founded by Jack Niida, Hiroko Kanazashi, and Nao Miyazawa, will offer an array of services to both established and indie studios, including localization, package and advertisement design, editing, monetization strategy development, and sales plan development. At the moment, acttil plans to deliver titles for PC, current and next-gen consoles, mobile platforms, the web, and eReaders.

NIS releases new batch of screenshots from Time and Eternity
NIS has released some new screens from Imageepoch’s Time and Eternity. The hand-drawn role-playing game, set to launch this summer, tasks players with going back in time to stop their fiance’s murder. After being attacked on her wedding day, the bride’s aggressive alter ego appears and joins in the fight to ensure that her history doesn’t repeat itself. The latest shots show some more of the combat, a little character interaction, and world navigation.

Black Rock Shooter The Game launches on PSN for PSP
A new role-playing game has launched on PS Network for PSP. NIS America is continuing their support for the resilient handheld with Black Rock Shooter The Game. Featuring art from Huke and voice acting by Hatsune Miku, the post-apocalyptic adventure from Imageepoch follows the exploits of the battle android BRS as she assists the remaining handful of humans on an alien-infested Earth.

Black Rock Shooter The Game launching this month on PSN for PSP
A new role-playing game from Imageepoch and NIS America is set to launch on PSN for PSP later this month. Black Rock Shooter The Game, set to be released on April 23, follows the battle android BRS in her battle against invading aliens. The game begins during the waning years of a 19-year-long war, when there are only 12 humans left on Earth for her to protect.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory now available for PS3
NIS America has released the latest entry in the Hyperdimension Neptunia role-playing series, Victory. The PS3 exclusive continues the adventures of Neptune and her fellow guardians in their quest to protect the lands of Gamindustri. This latest outing finds them in a more nostalgic time after the crew is transported back to the 1980s. In addition to new characters and dungeons, Victory also sports a faster battle system.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory combat trailer released
The next release in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, Victory, was pushed back to March 21 late last month. In better news, NIS has released a new combat trailer to tide fans over. The video features a montage of battles, with snippets covering combination attacks, Dimensional Skills, and EXE Drive.

Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk ships to retail for PS3
A new entry in the Atelier series has shipped to stores today for PS3, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk. The NIS America-localized, Tecmo Koei-published release follows the alchemist Ayesha Altugle in her search for her younger sister, Nio. New features include a rear attack type as well as a diary, which not only keeps a log of Ayesha’s activities but also allows her to unlock new items, recipes, and stat boosts. Also, in a break with its predecessors, missions no longer have time restrictions.

Time and Eternity announced for PS3, coming this summer
The final title out of the three revealed at NIS America’s Press Event 2013 is looking pretty sharp. Following the announcement of Disgaea D2: A Brighter Dimension and The Guided Fate Paradox, spiritual successor to Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger, is Imageepoch’s Time and Eternity. The hand-drawn role-playing game follows the mystery of an engaged couple who must go back in time to stop a killer from murdering them on their wedding day—a murder that occurs shortly before the time shift. Players will be able to wield swords and firearms, as well as manipulate time, in their quest for preventive justice.
