Daedalic releases launch trailer, demo for adventure title Silence

A playable demo has been released for Silence on Steam. The trial from Daedalic’s latest adventure offers players the chance to explore a world between life and death, the titular Silence, as a 16-year-old named Noah who is in search of his lost sister, Renie. The two find themselves in a land haunted by strange creatures that are being held at bay by a band of rebels. If the duo can help the rebels save the world, they can survive long enough to make it back home.

Dishonored 2 launches online, in stores for console and PC

After releasing earlier this week for pre-orders, Dishonored 2 is now available for all through retail and digital outlets. The assassin Corvo, protagonist of the original Dishonored, returns to fight alongside his daughter, Emily. The pair is in a battle to restore Emily to the throne, as they take down the usurper’s forces in the city of Karnaca. As in the original, players have access to melee abilities, firearms, and special powers.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live – The 2nd Stage adds six songs, encore

Sega has released the second stage for Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live. The $14.99 drop includes six tracks: shake it! – by emon, Quirky Medley – Giga-Remix – by Giga-P/Reol, Mikito P, Hello, Worker – by KEI, Cat Food – by doriko, Tell Your World – by livetune, and Time Machine – by 1640mP. A special performance is also bundled in, LOL -lots of laugh- by mikumix. Stages are available individually or as a set via the Season Pass, with 3rd Stage set to go live in December.

Rainbow Six Siege – Operation Red Crow update arriving Nov. 17

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s fourth update, Operation Red Crow, has been scheduled for November 17. As part of the Year One road map, the patch will add a free map (Skyscraper) that pits players against the Yakuza in Nagoya, Japan; new features; and for Season Pass holders, Japanese S.A.T. Operators Hibana and Echo. The Operators will be available for everyone else on November 24. The studio also announced that they will be offering a free weekend from November 11-13 for PC (Steam and Uplay) and PS4.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition available for PS4 Pro

Warner Bros. has released the Game of the Year Edition of Shadow of Mordor for PS4 Pro. The latest version has been updated to take advantage of the Pro’s increased processing power with 30 frames per second at 4K resolution. Marcus and DeadSec set out to take down the system with the release of Watch Dogs 2’s launch trailer. After being labeled as a criminal by the authorities, Marcus uncovers a propaganda campaign to trick the public as corrupt corporations take hold of the city. The video features some of the combos possible when players mix hacking with driving and shooting, as well as the group’s struggle to get the citizens on their side.

Cat-ish thing Morgana joins Persona 5’s Phantom Thieves

Today’s Persona 5 character trailer is a little different than the others, as the reveal isn’t of a person but a thing … of sorts. The team’s mascot is a cat-like otherworldly creature that goes by the name of Morgana. Morgana is more than just an inspiring presence, as it also serves as a mentor being a professional thief. Dishonored 2 releasing tomorrow for pre-orders, launch trailer up

Dishonored 2 will be playable tomorrow for pre-orders, so to kick things off, Bethesda has released the official launch trailer. Everyone else will be able to snag their copy on Friday. In addition to once again taking on the role of famed assassin Corvo, players will also step into the shoes of his daughter, Emily. The duo must battle a usurper throughout the streets of Karnaca in order to restore Emily to the throne.

GTA Online update adds new Adversary Mode, Tron-style motorcycles

GTA Online has been updated to add a new Adversary Mode, Deadline, along with the futuristic Nagasaki Shotaro motorcycle. The speedy, concept-style bike is unlocked for purchase at Legendary Motorsport once players try out Deadline. The arena racer has four players team up against one another while on different colored, light-trail-emitting Shotaros, trying to outlast each other by avoiding the dangerous trails. Players who take part in the mode can earn Double GTA$ and RP through November 21. Biker Business Sales have begun to celebrate the added bikes, offering 25% off Business supplies and resupplies plus an extra 50% GTA$ and Double RP. Select weapons and tactical vehicles are also on sale.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Orsinium turns 1 with discounts, events

Bethesda is celebrating the anniversary of Elder Scrolls Online’s second downloadable pack, Orsinium. For new buyers, the studio has dropped the price for the add-on by 75% down to 750 crowns ($6.25), while the Collector’s Bundle is 60% off, adding a Cave Bear mount, a Cave Bear pet, and five crown experience scrolls. Current players can earn double loot and rewards from world bosses, daily delves, and the Maelstrom Arena. Resource nodes in Orsinium will also net double the amount of materials. The drop adds a new zone, a single-player monster arena, public dungeons, and an estimated 20-plus hours of story content focused on the Orcs.
