Doom hits store shelves and digital outlets next week, and to get everyone’s trigger finger itching, Bethesda has released a launch trailer. id Software’s return to the series finds the Doom Marine once again knee-deep among the dead, and the minions of Hell. The reboot will feature a single-player campaign, multiplayer, and the SnapMap game editor to create and share levels. (WADs? It’s 1993 all over again!)

New video series kicks off for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr

There’s a lot of movement on the Warhammer front these days, especially the 40K line. From real-time strategy games to first-person shooters, the Emperor is very active as of late. NeocoreGames is stepping in to do their part with their upcoming action role-playing game Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. The title was announced last summer, but today, the studio is delving into more detail with the debut of a new monthly video series detailing the game’s mechanics. The Inquisitorial Log will cover a variety of topics throughout the development process, with the first episode using in-game footage to discuss environmental destruction and how it affects cover.

Fallout 4 – Far Harbor launching May 19, first-look trailer released

Bethesda has released the first look at the third add-on for Fallout 4, Far Harbor. The $24.99 download, slated to go live on May 19, adds the new island Far Harbor, noted as the largest landmass of any add-on from the studio. After players are sent a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency, they land on the isle, located just off the coast of Maine, and find it even harsher than home due to higher levels of radiation. A new storyline soon unfolds surrounding a conflict between the local townsfolk, the Children of the Atom, and the synths. Players will also find new armor, faction quests, settlements, dungeons, weapons, and creatures.

A new, bloody trailer has gone live for Dead Island Definitive Collection. The sampling of carnage is taken from the definitive editions of Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide, which will be included in the collection. The PS4 and Xbox One retail releases will also come with the new mini-game Dead Island Retro Revenge.

Forza Motorsport 6 gets digital die-cast with Hot Wheels Car Pack

Forza and Hot Wheels are kicking off their partnership today with the release of Hot Wheels Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6. The seven-car pack includes the 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, 2005 Ford Hot Wheels Mustang, 2015 McLaren P1 GTR, 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport, 2015 BMW X6M, the 1990 Ferrari #1 Scuderia Ferrari 641, and ahead of its real-world debut in June, the 2017 Ford Focus RS. The cars are available separately or bundled together for $7. Note that the pack is not part of the Car Pass.

Relic, Sega unveil Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III for PC

Sega and Relic have heard the call of the Emperor and have responded in unison with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. The latest entry will feature a three-faction campaign and is said to be a combination of the first two titles, with the customizable hero units of the second along and the larger armies and base-building of the first. The Eldar, Orks, and Space Marines were all revealed in the newly released announcement trailer.

Cubetype’s hybrid twin-stick shooter/fighter Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet will be blasting its way onto PS4 on September 9. The game will be available digitally and physically, and as a limited edition bundled with an art book, art cards, a soundtrack, and bonus downloadable content. Players will be able to choose from 10 different characters to compete in one-on-one combat using shooter mechanics to learn about each in Story Mode. After perfecting the use of spell cards and customized projectiles, players can then try their hand at fighting others over PSN.

Recently, hints and then videos began to appear indicating that a new Call of Duty announcement was imminent. Today, the curtain has been pulled back to reveal Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare—and Modern Warfare Remastered. Following the main line’s tendency to go futuristic, the new release will take the fight beyond Earth and into the solar system. The story follows Tier 1 Special Operations pilot Captain Reyes as he commands one of the planet’s last warships, the Retribution, against the fascist Settlement Defense Front. A barren and overpopulated Earth relies on resources supplied by its colonies, but the Front is trying to secure all off-world outposts. From the Retribution, players will also launch sorties in the Jackal jet fighter. Also, all Legacy and Digital Deluxe packages will come with a download for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, which will include the base game and 10 multiplayer maps. New gameplay footage released from Space Hulk: Deathwing

The heretical voices have been temporarily silenced, but Genestealers still threaten the Imperium. The Emperor wills their eradication, and a new Space Hulk: Deathwing gameplay trailer from developer Streum On Studio will show players the way. The upcoming first-person shooter is an adaptation of the Space Hulk boardgame, and the latest video offers a look at how they modeled the rules for the digital version, with info on enemies, squadmates, and the localised damaged system. As a Librarians, players will search the Olethros with an AI squad to hunt down relics and Genestealers in a story co-written by Gavin Thorpe.

Another World Warrior returns today, Guile joins Street Fighter V

Street Fighter II veteran and World Warrior Guile has been added to Street Fighter V. He brings with him a new stage, Character Story, and set of Trials. Guile’s Air Force Base marks the first new stage to be added after launch, and features a few throwbacks to the original level. The stage can be purchased from the in-game shop for 70,000 Fight Money, while Season Pass holders will receive it for free. Guile is currently free as well and will remain so until real currency becomes an option in the shop. The update also implements a new system to punish rage quitters along with improvements to speed up matchmaking.
