Rail-shooter fans looking to unleash some motion-control justice on zombies are in luck as Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection has launched on PSN. The $26.99 set includes Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, previously Wii exclusives, and is only available on the PS Store. Both titles now feature Move support, as well as graphical upgrades, allowing players to relive moments from earlier Resident Evils in style.

Sorcery works its spell on retail, on store shelves for PS3

The PS Move-only Sorcery is now available for the PS3. Developed by The Workshop and Sony Santa Monica, Sorcery is a single-player adventure based around casting spells, brewing elixirs, and solving puzzles using the Move controller, PS Eye, and the navigation, dualshock, or sixaxis controller. As a young sorcerer’s apprentice, players must venture out into the wilds of the Kingdom of The Dead, Endless Stair, and more as they set out to stop the Nightmare queen from covering the land in darkness.

House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut, the beefed-up PS3 re-release of Overkill for the Wii, will be doubling up on its 3Dness. Sega doesn’t want just those with their newfangled stereoscopic 3D sets to experience what it’s like for undead giblets to fly off the screen, so they will also be letting those with standard sets get in on the action with paper 3D glasses. Insomniac Games’ Resistance 3 is now available for the PS3. Set four years after Resistance 2, the third entry into the long-running series features an alternate 1950’s America that is occupied by the Chimera. Joseph Capelli returns from the second release as the last remaining Sentinel who must reverse the Chimar’s terraforming program. As the Earth slowly changes around him, Capelli strikes out in one last attempt to reverse mankind’s fortunes by trekking from his home in Oklahoma to meet up with scientist Dr. Fyodor Malikov in New York.
